Sharissa is tight and so is this album,am feeling every track.Boy,this chick is good

This is a great sophmore album by Sharissa. It should get a US release. The only version released in the US is a promo that feature copy-control or content-protect (just like A lot of the Sony BMG titles). Sharissa is a great R & B singer. I just hate the way her music is treated. She is very underrated. Just like Toni Braxton, A voice like this doesn't come around very often. One of the best songs on the album is "in love with a thug" With R. Kelly. I don't like R. Kelly becuase his music is always about sex but I'll make an exception. I think the reason why her music doesn't do well is because she doesn't get good promotion. Virgin Records needs to promote her better. They should have known better since her first album didn't do so well due to Motwon Records lack of promotion. I think the price for this cd is way too much but knowing that is is not getting an official US release, Sharissa is worth it.

Sharissa kinda reminds me of Lil Mo a bit.might be better suited as a Hook chick.but there are some cool Jams here including "In Love with a thug" with R.Kelly which is Hot Grits&Gravy Soulful.that song alone is worth the Price.R.kelly Sings this Song Like Smoke coming off a BAR B Que Pit.this is FIRE!!!! Sharissa got a nice range,but I can't see Her making it as a Album Artist. the Album aside from "In Love with a Thug",&I Got Love is slightly better than Average.

It is such a shame that this wasn't released in the United States. Sure, it's not groundbreaking or anything, but it is a solid R&B album. After a so-so debut and a switch of record labels, Sharissa finds her niche here without the "queen of the ghetto" persona. Every song is at least decent. If you just want to download the best songs: "In Love With A Thug," "I Got Love," "I'm Through" and "Sumthin'." But if you can find this at a reasonable price for you, I would recommend buying it.

I have liked Sharissa since she dropped No Half Steppin'! Was such a long wait between that CD and this new one. But, it was WELL worth it! She has such a hot/raw voice. Great melodies throughout, great beats and awesome slow/mid-tempo to club bumpers included on this disc! Sharissa has some great guests on here as well: R.Kelly & The Game (just to name a couple). If she keeps coming with CD's like this and No Half Steppin' she could be well on her way to getting up there with Mary J! Great voice and a great CD!! My favorite song is: "I'm Heat" with The Game! It is on HIT!

Check this CD out! You will be pleased through and through!

While not much public press or media has hyped about Sharissa don't let that get in the way of checking out a spectacular R&B production! Every song has something meaningful in lyrical quality, vocal pitch levels, and musical sound. This was a surprising masterpiece! Overall, the moods are mellow to mid-tempo tracks that are soothing, refreshing, and uplifting as well as empathetic for those who have been through tough relationships or situations.

This is the Japan Import [TOCP-66444] and comes with lyrical sheet in Japanese, obi-strip, and bonus track titled, "Not Looking". The inner booklet has the lyrics. The album is dedicated to friends, family, fans, and "all the women that have paved the way" for Sharissa mentioning Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, Faith Evans and many more. The booklet has very spiritual references to God that are truly touching. There are featured artists, hip-hop blends, reggae hints, and vast R&B elements!

Some featured artists include The Game, R. Kelly, Wyclef Jean, Millie Jackson, and Tank. The ear-opener for me was the track with R. Kelly titled, "In Love With A Thug" for the unbelievable sound he has. As far as her voice, I was blown away [she sounds a bit like MJB]. When I heard Wyclef Jean it was even more of a surprise. "Take Me As I Am" has excellent lyrics, Caribbean blends with reggae, and R&B. The blends of sounds in his collaboration with Sharissa are off the charts spectacular! "I Got Love" has a fabulous vocal pitch sounding like Mary J. Blige at times, Keyshia Cole, Faith Evans and others with references to finding the perfect lover. Another top hit for me is "Not Looking" for the rap and hip-hop combined with the fast tempos, club references, and positive "I'm hot like fire" attitude.

Many tracks are diverse in styles yet the album spins each style in a very stylish way as to wonder what comes next? This is the type of album to play in any kind of mood. It's not a fast tempo type Rihanna style nor is it a Ciara hip-hop dance style. This would be what they call a classic R&B album! There's all kinds of sounds, singing, featured artists, tempos, all creating the ultimate masterpiece sensation!

SHARISSA'S frist album was better then this new album wich is called EVERY BEAT OF MY HEART this album is not bad at all she just could have did way better i hope some changs r made on it b4 it comes out n the US i have the japan (import) it has 13 songs on it one is a bonus track out og the 13 i like 6 or 7 songs NUMBER .1 OF THE SONGS I LIKE IS (I GOT LOVE) THIS IS A NICE SONG . NUMBER .2 IS (I'M HEAT FEAT. THE GAME) NOW THIS U CAN HEAR N A CLUB N BE LIKE O THATS HOT. NUMBER 3(IN LOVE WITH A THUG FEAT R.KELLY) THIS IS A GOOD SONG HER N R. KELLY DID IT WIT THIS SONG. NUMBER 5 IS THE BEST SONG ON HEAR IT IS (SUMTHING") THIS SONG IS SO HOT AND SHE IS TALKING ABOUT HAVEING SEX CUZ HER BODY IS N NEED OF IT LOL. NUMBER.6 IS (EVERY BEAT OF MY HEART) THIS SONG IS A NICE SONG I LIKE IT. NUMBER.7 (THATS ENOUGH) THIS IS A GOOD SONG I LIKE THE WORDS N THE BEAT. ITS TO MORE I LIKE ON THAIR SO I GUESS I LIKE MORE THEN 7 BUT THATS ALL I AM GOING TO TALK ABOUT BUY SHARISSA'S ALBUM AND GET THE FRIST ONE IF YOU DONT HAVE IT
