A Kid's Review
This review is from: Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining (Abby Hayes #1) (Paperback)
I'm a middle-schooler and i decided to pick up "EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING." Being a writer myself, i did enjoy it somewhat. But if you would like to purchase this book, I'd suggest buy it for 3-5th grade readers. This book was too easy for me and very predictable.

THE BOOK THAT STARTED IT ALL!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining (Abby Hayes #1) (Paperback)
I have read 10 books about Abby Hayes and they have all had problems, like a dull room or a dull newspaper job. But this book was the book that started it all. In the first book, we meet Abby, a fifth grader who has a superstar family. Abby has SuperSibs who can do anything from playing sports to debating to programming computers. Abby just wants to fit in! That's all she wants (except for her wish of pierced ears)! So Abby's friend, Jessica, a sporty girl who loves space and soccer, helps Abby train for the soccer team. Abby finally acheives her goal, until someting very embarrassing happens in one of the game. But it turns out all right when she sees what is in the newspaper the next day. This is a great book, so you should read this one and all of the other one to see how Abby grows up and experiences something that everyone can relate to.

An excellent book for young girls,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining (Abby Hayes #1) (Paperback)
Have you ever felt singled out in your family and nobody understands? Well if you do you should read this book. It is a book about a girl around your age, who always thinks she is totally different from the rest of her family. Her name is Abby Hayes. Abby has a dream to be a great soccer player. She also wishes she weren't so different. Abby goes through some struggles in her way to becoming a soccer star. Will she succeed at her dream? Read the book to find out. I think that Anne Mazer did an excellent job on this book. I didn't really like the ending, but all in all this was a 5 star book.

THE CALENDAR QUEEN IS HERE!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining (Abby Hayes #1) (Paperback)
This is the first book of the < The AMAZING DAYS of ABBY HAYES >.
The book tells you about a girl that's soooo different from her family that she thought she was adopted! Abby had wild, tangly, curly hair that even hundreds of clips can't keep them neat! She had a little brother and two twins sisters,if you think she had an ordinary family... then you're wrong. When you see her brother, you'll see him holding a keyboard or a robot. (I'm not going to tell you more unless you read it yourself, because some people'll read these reviews and never read the books.) And also, Abby Hayes wrote in her journal all day long. This book is about how Abby wanted to show that she's really belongs in the family, so when her school had a soccer team, she participated. She was also starting Fifth Grade. And she found out that Fifth Grade wasn't so bad after all! Because she had a CREATIVE WRITING CLASS with MISS BUNDER, a teacher who was the first time to teach and always wore the cooless clothes. At the big game,( Soccer. )Abby had a very BAD fall. She fell flat on her face! The next day, Abby found out that her article for Creative Writing was on the DAILY NEWSPAPER!( Miss Bunder liked her article soooo much, that she asked a friend of her, who worked for the Newspaper, to print it! ) I think this book should be right for nine to eleven years old .( I just think! )

Kavi's book review,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining (Abby Hayes #1) (Paperback)
The book I'm reviewing is called Every cloud has a silver lining. This book was written by Anne Mazer. It is about a girl called Abby who wants to be a super soccer player. Abby tries to be like her family because she was adopted. Her five year old brother knows how to build a computer. Isabel is very smart, and Eva knows how to play every sport. My favorite part of the book is when Abby and her best friend Jessica make up and help each other become soccer stars. This is part of a series called the amazing days of Abby Hayes. The author has thought of a cool idea to show what Abby writes in her journal. This book is great for people who love high goals and good attempts. It is a realistic fiction book.

An awesome book!,
By An 11-year old reader (Arizona!) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining (Abby Hayes #1) (Paperback)
I think The Amazing Days Of Abby Hayes, Every Cloud has a Silver Lining, is an awesome book! It tells the book from both Abby's view(the main character) and from a narrator! You can relate to a lot of things that goes on in the book, and also how Abby feels. It makes you want to keep reading and reading, edition after edition! The only bad thing about the books is that you can finish really fast, but after your done with one book, you can go to the next book! It's a book I would definetely reccomend to girls everywhere!
