I have always loved Joe Williams. I remember my parents play "Going To Chicago" when I was a child.You can't get any better than Joe Williams with Count Basie and his orchestra. When Joe Williams holds the note at the end of "Everyday I Have the Blues" it just kills me. Joe Williams' singing style was very unique. There will never be another. I miss you Joe. |
