Format: Paperback
I really thought the book would be more than it is. It has some beautiful photography scattered through the book, but less than 10% of them are photos of the actual finished recipes. I eat with my eyes first, I want a cookbook to wow me there first and then make me want to read the recipe in it's entirety. I was disappointed this book didn't do that. Also, it's organized by month instead of by the normal Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Entrees, Desserts, etc. I guess she's trying to be seasonal with produce and things easiest to find during each month, but it's slightly annoying to have to keep referring to the index section if you'd like to see her recipes for chicken. (last I heard, that wasn't seasonal!)

That being said, I will give it several stars for the quality and ease of many of the recipes. They are approachable and you would not feel like you need to purchase special ingredients.
