This book takes you through the whole process of the interview right through making the decision as to whether your rights have been violated and what to do if they have been. This is a very easy to read book done in a very thoughtful way exploring whether contesting an employers action is a smart decision to suing the hell out of them for a blatent violation of the law. Ill never go unprepared again.

I purchased an older edition of this book back in the early 90's and it has been my "bible" on the job ever since! This book is in a straightforward, easy to understand format and contains invaluable information for anyone who works.

Excellent, informative and enjoyable read. This book is extremely well-written. It offers a wide spectrum of Employment Law. I usually keep books like this on hand to skim through, as reference material. However, this book was such an enjoyable read, I didn't want to put it down!

I have been in the Labor Movement for 32 Years and this is the MOST infomitive book I've read on Labor Laws. This book is Reader Friendly and in layman's terms, with references to just about Everything Workers need about Labor Rights. If your having legitament problems at your Workplace, GET this Book!!!

Excellent source of information for the lay person. Covers topics which apply to situations encounterd daily. Must have background for all supervisors and anyone who prefers to avoid problems instead of solving them.

This book is job security. Fully loaded and easy to read. It even references actual cases for further research. If I had this book some time back I could have saved the employment of friends and family. GET THIS BOOK !!! Its like having armor.

This book is a very thorough book regarding employment law. It is an easy read but full of useful information. It breaks down the laws in such a way that the laymen can determine if there has indeed been an act of discrimination. Then, from a legal viewpoint, it gives what steps should be taken. It is very informative and should be in every employee's personal library.

It is an excellent source to understand our rights and how Labor Laws protect Employees. In addition, this book show real cases which kept your attention and interest for each topics. I highly recomend this great book.

Every Employee's Guide to the Law is an esssential read for anyone entering or who has been in the work force. Whether you are a high school student just entering the work force with your first job....or....a seasoned veteran of the work force with years under your belt, this book is a MUST HAVE!

It very clearly and easily outlines the who, what, why, where, and how of entering, working in, and even leaving the workforce. It's a help to anyone who reads it understand where THEY stand as an employee under contract OR at will of another.

It's written in such a way that anyone can understand it. There isn't alot of legal jargon that is confusing in it. The legaleze that is in the book is explained and broken down so that anyone can understand what is meant.

I would recommend this book for the recent college graduate, the brand spanking new high school student getting their first job, or a senior who is supplementing their income after retirement.

It's also very informative for the unemployed, whether it's recently unemployed or in the process of.

Let's not forget to mention the cross referencing that happens in this book. There are sections in each chapter that give the reader the ability to cross reference information listed. Not to mention it gives statutory law by state!

I can't say it enough, GREAT BOOK!
