This review is from: Every Family Needs a C.E.O.: What Mothers and Fathers Can Do About Our Deteriorating Families and Values (Hardcover)
This book reads simply, but seeps its way into the heart and mind through stories of real people struggling with "fathering." While "fathering" may seem a familiar concept, it is here clearly laid as out set of responsibilities not confined to the male gender. It is about training a child toward civility, realistically and firmly. In our culture, which these days is purposefully dis-oriented by the overuse of emotion and sensationalism, this book presents a welcome formula that anyone, even a bright child, can understand and gain from. Civilized living may depend on the likes of this book.
