5.0 out of 5 stars Very Informative, December 23, 2008
By
This review is from: Every Grain of Rice: Portraits of Maui's Japanese Community (Hardcover)
I saw this book at a local bookstore here on Maui and wanted to get it for my wife because it had a picture of her family's old business. (Her parents grew up on Maui and the photo was taken around 1920.) However, I didn't want to pay full price. The used book I got instead was in very good shape and she, as well as her aunties and uncles who still live on Maui have really enjoyed seeing not only their own family's picture but all of the other historic photographs.
