4.0 out of 5 stars Great fictional account of life at the Naval Academy in the 1980s, January 14, 2011
This review is from: Every Mother's Son (Mass Market Paperback)
Read this book over 20 years ago but it still sticks with me. The author did a great job capturing the feel of "The Yard" in her accounts, including the quirks of the city of Annapolis, even down the the infamous "West Street Walker" who anybody that attended USNA in the 80s or 90s will remember. Although it is strictly fictional, the descriptions and characters are very accurate and appropriate for the Naval Academy of the late 1980s. I would be delighted to see this available as a Kindle release!
