4.0 out of 5 stars A Ddecent Place to Start, November 25, 2004
This review is from: Every Village Has a Song: Anthology (Audio CD)
If you already own some of Lateef's albums this one may not be necessary. It draws together an interesting array of his work, but it doesn't truely grab you (or at least me) like his albums (especially: Eastern Sounds or the Live at Pep's). If you are new to exploring Lateef's music...I'd say this is a decent place to start. If you like what you hear on this, then look for you favorite tracks on some of his other albums.
