Many women might find that this book provides a quick and fun pick-me-up. Personally, I am really tired of being told that a bubble bath and rhinestone tiara will make my life better.

My wife read this book and has taken it to heart! She has finally given herself the permission to take care of herself (without feeling guilty or getting mad at me) as well as me and the kids and we are all happier and now all of us are having fun! Thank you Divas!

This is a great book for getting back on track with your own life after having kids - or really after any "distraction" in life, like too much work, or simply taking yourself too seriously. It's fun and usable and you won't ever outgrow the advice. It's a book you could pick up and read again in 5 years for a refresher. Did I mention it's fun? Get one for a friend who needs a little "boost." Go divas! And oh ya, I AM DIVA!!!

If "wear a tiara to the grocery store" is the type of advice you're looking for- you'll love this.

I'm one of those people who abhors women's/girl's magazines as they usually tend to be superficial. Also, I seem to be out of the target audience as I'm merely 18. I saw this book while on holiday in the US and found it really intriguing. I was immediately HOOKED.

It's humourous, witty, and full of fun. Sure, some of the advice isn't for everyone (I didn't pay much attention to the fashion bit) but a lot of it is just great common sense and good tips to cheer us up when we get too serious. I bought this as a gift for my closest friend, and she loved it. We now have a Diva thing between us.

This book ROCKS! :D

The authors call this book a "guide to outrageous living." I don't need a book for that but I'll bet many of you do! Don't believe me? How many of you can say I AM DIVA! and not wince or mouth the words sheepishly? If you can, you'll love this book. If you can't, you really need to read this book!
I AM DIVA is an interactive work that takes readers on a year-long journey of discovery, self-awareness and change. Of course, many of you will wince as you read of tiaras and boas, but there is a serious message to be found.
Unfortunately there are too many who live a Cinderalla-like existence. All work and no play. Forget trying on glass slippers! They need to escape their dungeon of a life more than many of us who can afford to buy this book. I think a diva-licious idea would be to share the ideas found in the pages of I AM DIVA with those who need it most. Even better, make someone else a DIVA for a day. You might even consider buying them the book, 'cause if you've had the time time to attempt all the DIVA do's and don'ts suggested, you can afford to tip your tiare elsewhere and share your keys to the kingdom.
The four Divas authors came together from different ages and stages of life. Thin and full-figured, married with children or without - they have successfully navigated the fields of fashion design, nursing, Internet consulting, business. You name it, they've done it! Now their collective vision and wisdom is being used to redefine a woman's self worth.
Some have quibled here that I AM DIVA is not a new concept. PLEAsssee! Give this diva a break! Women helping their fellow sisters in need out? More power to them!

I adored this book. Each woman had their own divaness to share but it was Maureen who captured my fancy. That woman has got it going on, loved her authenticity.

I found this book to be a complete delight, a pleasure cruise of helpful hints to guide me through the bumps in the road of life. If you find yourself stopped in life or life just isn't what it used to be, or you just want to have more fun in life, then this book is for you! I AM DIVA!

This is a treasure of a book--chock full of entertaining stories from four fabulous divas! Great reminders and instructions for living happily and filling each day with easy pleasures that make you glad to be alive and glad to be a woman. There is an Inner Diva in all of us that craves time and expression. Books like this help us remember to live fabulously each day!
