Getting Fit!,
By
This review is from: Every Woman's Guide to Personal Power (Paperback)
I got Wendie's book about 5 months ago. I have been on a fitness plateau for years, although I worked out 3-6 times a week (cardio and free weights). This is the first time in my life that I have showed definition in my arms and abs. My overall fitness has really improved since I started on Wendie's program! My friends and family have asked me what I have been doing, so I tell them all about Wendie & John's Transformetrics program. It is the best thing I ever did to shake up my work out routine!

Awesome Program!,
By
This review is from: Every Woman's Guide to Personal Power (Paperback)
I used to be the person carrying around an extra 10 pounds with neither the motivation or the time to exercise a little harder. When I became engaged last fall, I was determined to have some definition in my arms for my wedding day. The challenge was, I hate going to the gym and I travel all of the time with my job. I learned about Wendie's book from a friend and got it immediately. Packed neatly in my suitcase on every business trip, I went from orering room service and parking myself on the hotel room bed to actually putting Wendie's method to the test. It was fun and easy and addicting. In 3 months, I lost 12 lbs, an inch in my biceps and 3 inches in my waist. This is a perfect program for women business travelers!

I've purchased plenty of exercise videos and programs and this is the best. It is simple and can be done anywhere in short periods of time. I love Transformetrics because you feel the intensity of the workout quickly and do not have to purchase any equipment. I almost did not purchase as I have spent so much money on exercise videos and book to stay motivated, but I am very thankful I purchased this book. I injured my hip over 5 years ago and her program has been successful in helping me isolate and work that muscle. And I've tried almost everything to heal that muscle including pilates, physical therapy, electronic muscle stimulation, but these exercises have been the most beneficial. When she makes a exercise DVD, I'll buy it.

Every Woman's guide to Personal Power,

Finally, a realistic approach to exercise! You DO NOT have to feel pressured into fitting time into your busy schedule - because you can do these exercises throughout your entire day. I am in sales and markenting, visiting with people all day long! It is nice to be able to work out at home, or the office, in my car or while cooking dinner. I don't have to worry about going to the gym and making small talk or looking like I know what I'm doing on all the machines. These exercises are so well layed out, easy to follow and actually fun to do - I really wish all women would give them a 4 week try. I'll be honest, I am tall and of slender build. My "bad" spot is my thighs. By doing isometrics a little bit each day, I have toned my arms, abs, and yes even the tree trunks:)!!! I'd give you my number to call and I'd go on an on, but I don't think that's a wise internet idea. If you're at all in question, Wendie is so up beat and easy to talk to - and I know she'd be thrilled to tell you more. Good luck and have fun getting all the compliments after you start this program!

I am delighted to report that Wendie's book and exercises have helped me return to the size and physical fitness I was seeking. I've lost 17 pounds, 11 inches and 3 sizes. I especially love the fact that none of the exercises require a gym or equipment. It is using your own body as the ultimate exercise equipment. And the money you save can be put into your retirement plan!

Informative. Effective.,

This book offers most of the same exercises that are in The Miracle 7, plus a selection of many other exercises which are specifically tailored to a woman's needs. I cycle through the routines in The Miracle 7 and then add some exercises from this book for whatever body part(s) is the focus of the day. Between the two books, I think I have just about all I need.
I have tried many exercise programs over the years, and this no-equipment body weight method is - very surprisingly - the absolute best I have found. I started exercising after the birth of my fifth child. Two years after the birth, my stomach had still not gone down. In addition, after the many child-rearing years in which I was totally inactive, I noticed that if one of the toddlers got out the gate and I went to chase after him, after about ten steps I couldn't run anymore and my ankles literally felt like they were going to break off. Being very thin, as well, I became concerned about osteoporosis. All those factors together got me started on a quest to find an effective exercise program. I won't go into the whole journey, but will only say that much searching and thinking and trying have led me finally to this program. Although other programs definitely did some good, I must say that none of them have gotten me this trim and tight and in such good shape. After less than two weeks on the Miracle 7 program, I lost so many inches that all my pants and skirts were falling off of me. I wasn't trying to lose weight to start with, but my protruding stomach had always been a great source of embarrassment to me. No other program ever got that under control. My stomach is now so tight and flat that I can't even believe it is the same one I struggled with my whole life. I really could go on and on about all the changes in my body from these exercises. In addition to offering effective exercises that require no equipment, this book addresses important issues for women such as eating disorders, menopause, breast cancer, osteoporosis, and many more. (I was glad to read that since these exercises employ self-resistance, they are effective in building bone density.) Some exercises are reported to help heal injuries. There are helpful and relevant questions and answers throughout the book. The exercises are shown in pictures and are explained very clearly. I would suggest buying both this book and The Miracle 7 which, together, I consider a complete set of exercises and a valuable resource. The Miracle 7 is a good basis for routines if you like things already laid out for you; this book adds more exercises and focuses on health and exercise issues that relate exclusively to women. I plan to buy more copies of this book to give as gifts to friends and relatives.

NO MORE guilt over not making it to the health club!,
By Linda "Linda" (Minneapolis, MN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Every Woman's Guide to Personal Power (Paperback)
I swore after I let go of my last health club membership that I would never again waste the money to belong to one! I just never could fit it into my hectic schedule to get there and the guilt over the wasted membership dues drove me crazy. With Wendie's fitness techniques I now exercise anywhere I am all throughout the day and it doesn't cost me anything more than the one time investment in her book! I traveled to Europe this summer and never had to worry about whether or not the hotels I stayed at had gym equipment. I didn't need it! I am amazed and only wish I would have found out long ago about Wendie. She also just came out with a DVD and it too, is awesome!

I have had the pleasure of receiving this book as a gift. When I started flipping through the book I noticed that this was a simple plan to get into shape with power and strength. Being a mom of 2 small children the " do these exercises anywhere, anytime " appealed to me. I am shocked how fast my body has responded to the simple exercises. I have been telling everyone about this book...Why go to the gym when you can rebuild yourself useing this easy to learn training system. Thank you John Peterson for mentoring Wendie with Transformetrics. Wendie, Thank you for sharing your story with the world!!!
