5.0 out of 5 stars Funny!
I really enjoyed this book and recognized most of the songs. I gave this book as a Christmas gift and it was a big hit! I also made a cd with 15 or so of the karaoke tracks to sing a long to. Very fun!

3.0 out of 5 stars Eh...not as interesting a concept as it sounds
I got this on the cheap for my Kindle (I seem to think it was free for a short time) because it sounded funny. Not really so much. Essentially, all the author has done is take familiar songs and change the lyrics to be about zombie romance instead of non-zombie romance. Unfortunately, sometimes it just falls flat. Essentially, all the author has done is take familiar songs and change the lyrics to be about zombie romance instead of non-zombie romance. Unfortunately, sometimes it just falls flat. A lot of times it falls flat. Okay, mostly, it just falls completely flat. I saw as I was coming in to write this review that the Kindle price was 8.99. Don't bother. Seriously. Do not bother. You want an interesting and irreverent zombie read that's worth the price? Go for Breathers: A Zombie's Lament or, even better, Christopher Moore's The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror.

3.0 out of 5 stars Coffeechug Book Review - www.coffeeforthebrain.blogspot.com, January 9, 2011

This review is from: Every Zombie Eats Somebody Sometime: A Book of Zombie Love Songs (Paperback)
There is not much to this book. Basically, it is a book of famous songs with the lyrics changed and modified to be all about zombies. And you know what......I thought it was great.

I was going to go through and talk about my favorite song, but I found that hard to do. If you are caught up in the current zombie craze, then this will be right up your alley. I don't know if it is worth 10 bucks, but to read it at a bookstore with a cup of coffee or checking it out from the library(if available) is a must.

Some examples

Sweet Caroline is Eat Caroline
I Want To Hold Your Hand is I Want To Eat Your Hand
You've Lost That Loving Feeling is You've Lost That Living Feeling(We found a brain...a brain...a brain you don't find everyday)

Stupid lyrics, but I love them. There is nothing wrong with enjoying a little zombie music lyrics. This was a nice way to end a long day and just chuckle to myself and think, "Aaron, you are such a dork!".
