Everybody Should Know...,

Ryan Adams has always been a great talent. He wrote the classic, "When the Stars Go Blue," and he's covered the classic "Wonderwall" with amazing results. But yet, not many know the man. Well, after this song, they should. Here, Adams does something he hardly ever does, make himself radio-friendly. Usually it's just art for Adams, but this time, he makes a relatively light song, that's as catchy, as it pleasant.The vocals are great, the melody is great, everything is pretty much great. However, it is a bit short, clocking in at a little less than two and a half minutes. So overall, short but sweet for this underrated talent. Maybe this could be a surprise radio hit, on country radio, an adult contemporary station. But in either case, he deserves to be heard. So pick-up this song, and you won't be disappointed. And kudos for amazing album cover, it's as real, as it is personal. |
