I have been waiting a lifetime to find this recording on CD. I have the original vinyl recording which is aged and played way too many time. I believe that HOLD ME, SQUEZZE ME is the perfect AM song. Anyone who has seen here perform this gem would agree.

Paul Sabu produced the gem "Everybody Needs Somebody Sometimes" for Ann-Margret in 1981. The cut has a smooth and sexy mid-tempo disco groove. Ann's voice was perfect for the song: rich and breathy. A song to share. Dim the lights, pour some wine and hold a special someone close to you. The lush notes of "Everybody Needs Somebody Sometimes" will melt around the room and you'll want to dance slow and sexy.

This lady can sing!! And she is a great actress too!! I love all her movies - "Viva las Vegas" with Elvis (some of the best go-go dancing!!)and "Carnal Knowledge" (Best Supporting Actress nomination - she should have won the Oscar for her dramatic role)with Jack Nicholson are some of her best!!

I first discovered "Everybody..." as the final track on the brilliant Idjut Boys' dance comp "Saturday Night Live Vol. 2", and was amazed this track had remained a glittering, buried treasure (and anything by the Boys is worth tracking down). It's late period disco at its finest, and Ann-Margret's performance is sex on legs. Buy it, it's fabulous.
