4.0 out of 5 stars Short but a lot of information in the pages January 1, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I loved this book. I have been trying to stay organic in my home garden, but the only quick advice I got was to grow enough so the bugs could eat their share. And the bugs weren't leaving me my share!!. In this book the author outlines the main bugs that a person will encounter, the damage they will do and how to identify them, and the methods to deal with them.

The book was written without much fluff, so although it is short, it delivers a lot of information in those pages. This really helped me with my garden. Anyone wanting to cut down or eliminate pesticides in their garden should check this book out.

5.0 out of 5 stars An extremely helpful book December 31, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
What made this book was helpful for me is the way the book is broken down into two sections. The first section describes with illustrations the different types of insects and pest. The second section deals with how to eliminate these insects and pest using organic methods.
Learning these new methods have proven to be helpful in giving me the tools needed to keep my little organic garden successful. The information about the lemons was a huge plus. Overall, the knowledge I have learn from this book will have a tremendous impact on a better garden, Thanks Doctor Garden.

1.0 out of 5 stars "Netural" Ways?? June 16, 2013
By M. Moss
Format:Kindle Edition
Good grief, can't there be a few basic requirements for self-publishing these garden books, such as knowing how to spell so that the front cover isn't an embarrassment to everyone? This guy may think he's a garden expert, but there's nothing new or helpful in here that can't be quickly learned from any state university-based extension service Website. I guess if one has never heard of any of these "pests," it might be educational to read this book, but that's about it.

3.0 out of 5 stars not bad, not great. well written May 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
It's well written, but light on content and left me feeling underwhelmed. Probably geared more towards mid-western gardeners, and unfortunately most of the information is also freely available on the internet. I was hoping to learn something new or have a handy guide available but alas such was not the case.

If you can overlook the obvious English language barrier and resulting grammar issues, this book is actually a good help in identifying, and getting rid of, garden pests.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fairly good information March 24, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A bit too brief of a book. It only addressed a few garden pests that may or may not be indigenous to the reader's location. Some grammar and spelling issues but were not too distracting.
