2.0 out of 5 stars CHEAP PAPER, December 25, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Everybody Tells Me to Be Myself but I Don't Know Who I Am: Building Your Self-Esteem (Faithgirlz!) (Paperback)
I bought this volume along with the other three in this series for Christmas gifts--4 for 3 promotion. I received them a couple of days prior to Christmas and didn't have time to shop for replacement gifts.

I have been a fan of Nancy Rue books for teen girls so thought these would make nice gifts for my neices. This is the only reason I purchased these specific titles.

The covers were inviting, but the paper inside the covers was CHEAP and uninviting. For a retail price of $7.99 each for 128 pages, I expected much higher quality paper. Shame on the publisher!

I did not read these volumes, so I can't comment on the content. I would NOT have purchased any of the books in this set had I seen them first at a bookstore. These books do not invite a reader in. The paper quality makes them look like very "cheap" gifts--think dollar store books.

I give this book two stars only because Nancy Rue is the author.
