Everybody Wants To Be On TV is testament to the perseverance of these three best friends from Harrow that booked their own shows in the local pub for 10 years before their big, deserving chance. The album opens on the first single, 'This Ain't A Love Song', a hugely powerful, soaring song and a strong example of Scouting For Girls' ambitious new sound. 'Little Miss Naughty' has already become a live favorite from its very first play, and crams more bouncing melodies into its three minutes than any number of established songwriters thought possible. Saw this band on BBC America and HAD to buy the cd. It worth the wait to receive it from across the pond. It is a great cd to sing along to in the car. My favorite tracks: "This Ain't a Love Song" and "Famous".

On their second album, SFG ups the ante and dives full force into mainstream pop. Their first album was certainly catchy, but this one pulls out all the stops. You've got ultra-slick production, deliciously gratifying hooks, synthesizers, and even some auto-tune thrown in for good measure. Normally, such an obvious attempt to appeal to the masses falls flat, but the fact of the matter is that there isn't a bad song on this album. From start to finish, "Everybody Wants to Be on TV" is an absolute delight!
