5.0 out of 5 stars Words of wisdom that dont need any initial faith or belief in any scriptures
I love this book. Everypage gives you a chance to meditate on life's various aspects. These aspects are the ones that we have always believed in and it is just because we failed to realize our inner potential that we have lost it. Osho brings forward an opportunity to reflect on these by way of everyday insights. There is no need for any faith or belief system to be in...

3.0 out of 5 stars eh, so-so..
got this book- but have already given it back to goodwill. not even as good as say, those Hazelden books- that have an 'inspiration a day' type layout. Those I really liked at times that I've felt I need some inspiration and supportive thoughts to ponder. This book seemed a bit elementary. Good for some I'm sure..but just my opinion....since amazon asked.

I love this book. Everypage gives you a chance to meditate on life's various aspects. These aspects are the ones that we have always believed in and it is just because we failed to realize our inner potential that we have lost it. Osho brings forward an opportunity to reflect on these by way of everyday insights. There is no need for any faith or belief system to be in place for these insights to be reaffirmed by your own inner voice. Even if you dont feel comfortable with it right now, time and your inner quest should give you ample opportunities to realize these insights in one way or the other. Osho presents the same theme of accepting life as it is and that too from moment to moment without any past conditioning and any future expectations.

The best. Each page is well written, clear and understandable. I have just started reading Osho's books and they really are quite wonderful and insightful. Have read several books concerning the Tao and Living in the Here and Now and in my opinion Osho is one of the best spiritual teachers in modern times

You won't be able to read just one a day. Osho keeps it simple. Each meditation is a kiss of wisdom. Peace

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Profound!, July 29, 2011

I have owned this book for many years and wouldn't part with it for anything. Many of the pages are filled with profound wisdom. I'll read it and then feel so moved by the wisdom that it contains that I just feel deeply moved, speechless and centered. I have been reading countless books by dozens of spiritual teachers since I was 15 years old (I'm 53 now) and Osho is by FAR the best teacher I have ever come across. The way I describe him is that studying with Osho is like going straight to University from Kindergarten compared to the other teachers I've been exposed to. Fortunately I was able to spend some time with him in India back in 1979. Osho is the best thing that ever happened to me and I really mean that!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Master who understood the material world, February 2, 2009

This review is from: Everyday Osho: 365 Daily Meditations for the Here and Now (Paperback)
It is easy to spout dogma when one lives in a monastery or some remote place where temptations are few. Resisting temptation to the end also results in some very high-minded and interesting writing. Osho came to the U.S. indulged in the worst our world had to offer, fell, righted himself and lived to walk away and write from the perspective of someone who had seen it all and now better understood the worth of his words.

These small daily meditations are more than uplifting, they are actually useful, based on a real knowledge of what faces those who live in the material world.

this is what day 253 says: "Science can never win against art, and logic can never win against love. History can never win against myth, and reality is poor compared to dreams"
