This book is filled with quotes and sayings, all inspirational, all meaningful.
This morning I felt angry at myself for not doing something as well as I'd expected. I opened the book and one of the first quotes I saw was, "Release the need to blame anyone, including yourself. We're all doing our best with the understanding, knowledge, and awareness we have." -Louise L. Hay
This moved me, how well it fit me at that moment. I took to the quote and forgave myself, realizing that it is useless to try to be perfect.
I recommend this book to anyone who gets inspired by quotes. If you are one of those people that needs to read a story to be inspired, this is not a book for you. But if you like to open a book anywhere and read a quote and be inspired, buy this book right now.

"The key to happiness is realizing that it's not what happens to you that matters, it's how you choose to respond." --Keith D. Harrell

Everyday Positive Thinking is a new 448 paged compilation of positive affirmations by esteemed Hay House authors. In addition to Louise Hay, some authors include: Sylvia Browne, Bruce Wilkinson, Deepak Chopra, Stephen R. Covey, Wayne W. Dyer, John Gray, Keith D. Harrell, Kryon (Lee Carroll), Max Lucado, Don Miguel Ruiz, Caroline Myss, Leon Nacson, Christiane Northrup, Peter Occhiogrosso, Suze Orman, Cheryl Richardson, Iyanla Vanzant, Doreen Virtue, and Marianne Williamson.

This small, chunky book can easily fit in most purses and briefcases--making it easy to take a few seconds to randomly sample short, positive thoughts. Who couldn't benefit from a quick moment of inspiration in the busy world of modern life? Some of the uplifting and thought-provoking wisdom in the book include:

"Your generosity toward others is key to your positive experiences in the world. Know that there's enough room for everyone to be passionate, creative, and successful. In fact, there's more than room for everyone; there's a need for everyone." --Marianne Williamson

"Know that you are the perfect age. Each year is special and precious, for you shall only live it once. Be comfortable with growing older." --Louise Hay

"Honor your top priorities. If it's not an absolute yes, then it's a no." --Cheryl Richardson

"When you understand that your self-worth is not determined by your net-worth, then you'll have financial freedom." --Suze Orman

"Be genuinely concerned for the welfare and growth of others. Feel their strengths." --Leon Nacson

"Say only what you mean.

In this world filled with so much negativity, it's nice to read a book all about postive thinking. Louise L. Hay is the queen of postive thinking and we need more people like her in this world. This little book has quotes from many other various people (such as Deepak Chopra, Suze Orman, Stephen Covey, Wayne Dyer, etc...) as well as Louise Hay. More than 400 pages, you can read a quote a day as inspiration.

This book could make a great gift for yourself or people in your life. It is small. It fits in the palm of your hand. However, it is thick and has many positive thoughts, quotes, and affirmations that will surely make your life better. If you are a regular of Self-Help books or are in need of one for the first time, this book makes a great read. It will not disappoint you. It will inspire you, make you smile a little harder, and hopefully make your days a little brighter. :)

This is only a review pertaining to the kindle version. Unlike the printed version where every quote appears on a lovely image, the kindle version is text only. There is a line of text on every page. Not at all worth the $5.99 I paid for it on amazon.com.

I saw this book at Glen Ivy and I was hooked. They didn't have any available for purchase but I knew I could count on Amazon to have it. This little book has lots of positive sayings to share with loved ones or at work...which is where I will share it the most.

This was bought on a glance at the title a member of the Partial Hospital Program I attended after being discharged from the mental unit. It is a wonderful little book and full of positiveness. I read a random page or two each morning before I begin my day.
