estate. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned real estate investor, this is one book
you need on your bookshelf. — Dr. Michael J. Kaye, author of the The Living Triad

“Very refreshing, especially the parts that related to real life experience. So often
we let ourselves get in the dumper and give up. This book is encouragement to those
who are stuck in the ruts of life.” — William Burger, Financial Advisor & Certified
Estate Planner

“Do you believe that regular people can’t become Millionaires? Well guess again. This
book demonstrates how everyday people, just like you, are doing it. Let these EVERYDAY REAL ESTATE MILLIONAIRES take you by the hand and show you the
path to wealth.” — Frank Gasiorowski (Mr. 90 Day Goals), coach and mentor

Over the past several years, there have been countless books, seminars and even reality TV shows around the topic of real estate investing. Much of this material is based on HYPE and GET RICH QUICK schemes, simply designed to sell more books and seminars to unsuspecting students. This book DOES NOT belong in that category! The author has presented 4 real life stories about everyday people creating above average success in real estate. The stories are told in the words of the storyteller, so that you learn something about the individual personalities. The mistakes made along the way are highlighted, and the real life challenges and difficulties are discussed so that you can understand that life as an investor is not all sugar and spice! Better yet, it will help you to avoid some possible landmines. The book allows you to see the choices that the storytellers made in order to move forward during difficult times, when they could have come up with excuses or simply quit. Several different investment strategies are discussed and investment tips are presented along the way. You will discover that true success in real estate comes about with a long term outlook and a focus on relationships, systems, and follow through. Not to mention what you can create in your life when you have a big enough WHY and when you are truly clear about what you want.

A very motivational read and well worth the time. Once I started, I had a hard time putting the book down. I will definitely recommend this book to my friends and business associates.

There are so many books and gurus around telling you to buy real estate with no money down, but none of them have any really practical (or legal) advice on how to do it. The strategies in this book are as simple as investing gets and don't operate in the gray-areas of the law. Best of all, anybody can invest this way - age, credit rating, bank account balance... none of it matters. You can be bankrupt and broke and still make it with these ideas.

For those who are deciding to dip their feet in the world of real estate, you can do much better than read a long collection anecdotes which may or may not be true. The font is big and the stories are long on 'inspiration' and short on specifics. There are absolutely no real lessons to be gleamed here.

As a recent beginner myself, I am constantly looking for more sources of information. I have read half a dozen books on cash flow analysis, value play strategies, and how to deal with market downturns. In most books catered to beginners, they will give you the 'why' on real estate investing in the first 5% (comparison to equities, value of control, risk, etc), and will dedicate the remaining 95% to the 'how' (developing your strategy, financial analysis, creating a team, finding properties, executing your plan, etc). This book will not give you the why, nor the how.

Every real estate book you have should provide another tool for your toolbox. I could not for the life of me figure out what tool this book was attempting to provide. The story of how Dick and Jane tripped over themselves and made a half-dozen bad decisions before they found the right property (which doubled in value over a year) is useless to me. The book is basically a case study in luck. Real estate investing has nothing to do with luck. It has everything to do with study, analysis, preparation and execution.

Beginners to real estate - please avoid this book. Stick to books that teach you about real estate finance, analysis and strategies. Anecdotes are fine only if they are used as case studies, and followed up with analysis of what went wrong and why. This books fails in that regard in that you are left having no tools, no lessons, and no greater understanding of real estate investing than you did before reading. I would give it less than one star if I could.

The book isn't like the others I have read as the stories are real life and most importantly attainable. I can honestly say this is one book that I would recommend as it isn't the typical Real Estate book with only the buy a fixer upper, renovate it, over price it and sell it to make a fortune. This book shows different Real Estate opportunities that are within reach.

Once I started, I wanted to keep reading it. I have already passed the book along to one of my friends and have many others asking about it.

You will enjoy it.

This book is fluff. If you want to hear about people's stories on real estate investing, this if for you. Of cousre, those stories are the same ones on any real estate forum. It does 'mention' real estate investment techniques, but no actual methods are disclosed. That's were the book gets really cheap; every single page has a a TradeMarked advertisement in it. Literally! I have never seen so much advertising in a book. Combined with the fact that the book has 2 inch margins on every side, and is double spaced, makes the whole thing look like a joke.

The author is also, strangely, selling this book in Packs of 3 in Canadian Real Estate maganize. Which just continues to highlight that this is an advertising tool. I threw my copy in a drawer rather than on my book shelf becuase I'm ashamed to call this an actual book.
