More About the Author

Amy Barkman has been in full time ministry since 1979. She is the Director of Voice of Joy Ministries, Founder of the Fun To Be One Club, and holds retreats and workshops in several states as well as being a prayer counselor and pastor of Mortonsville United Methodist Church. She wrote a newspaper humor column for three years, children's KY historical fiction, a musical play "Claus and the King" which debuted in 2009, and also skits for radio, TV, and live performances. Her non-fiction book "Everyday Spiritual Warfare" was released in September, 2011. "Board To Death", which includes her novella "Victim" as one of three, and mid-grade Christian fiction "Which Witch" were both released in October, 2011. "Chaos at Camp?" the second in the mid-grade Fun To Be One Club series is scheduled to be released in February 2012 and the second in the Dangerous Games Series of Novellas "Hands of Death" is due to come out in June 2012. The title of this book is misleading. Instead of a book about spiritual warfare, which scares off some church circles, this book provides revelation of daily behaviors which block us from living the free, happy lives God intended. It is by far the best book on the subject of unforgiveness and depression that I have read. For those two subjects alone, it is worth acquiring.

The book is laid out such that either groups can study it or individuals, and it includes study questions and "how to pray" sections over each subject. What a blessing this book has been. I cannot state it enough. It is not an overnight read. Instead this book is one to take slowly and thoughtfully with much prayer. It has changed my thinking, and I cannot recommend it enough.

This book is about the warfare Christians face in everyday life. What Christian or person does not deal with some type of battle daily in there life. We all deal with forgiveness, enemies, depression, chaos, anxiety, sickness, shame or death.

This book is not just a study guide for individuals or a group. This book is something that can help a Christian to win the battle with everything that is happening in there life.

Just remember that Christ has won the war for everyone of us.

Very down to earth and easy to understand. In a world where the spiritual realm is very real to those who believe, this book has hands on, practical advice on how to not only understand what is happening but how to apply scripture-based answers.
