This review is from: Everyone Will Eventually Leave You (Audio CD)
the full title of the record is "everyone will eventually leave you", and this is defintiely a downer, but a beautiful one. picking up where "eating the sea" left off, michael's music has definitely grown since the days of ethereal dirges like "unhittable". michael's vocals cascade around his beautiful electronics.. an excellent sophomore effort.

Will Leave You In Tears,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Everyone Will Eventually Leave You (Audio CD)
This is what comes after Michael Plaster's first masterpiece, "Eating the Sea". In my opinion, "Everyone Will Eventually Leave You" is certainly just as good, if not better. Plaster's music has matured and is more varied than his previous effort. The lyrics are much more direct, and less bogged down with cloudy metaphors, initially leaving the listener with a more intimate feeling. "Everyone Will Eventually Leave You" is as depressing as its title, even though the overall sound is not quite as impenetrably dark. (This is mostly due to the improved recording quality, though.) Basically, this is perfectly executed dark ambient sadcore, definitely not for the faint of heart, but rather for the extremely heartbroken. Michael Plaster's blend of guitars, ethereal synth string pads, subtle electronics, and tearful vocals will leave you lost forever in another world.
