From School Library Journal
Gr 7 Up-Moe begins by defining and classifying migraines, separating myths from facts, and offering good advice about how to recognize when a headache is a migraine and when it is not. Treatment suggestions are numerous and varied, adequately covering the most common options recommended by medical professionals as well as practitioners of alternative medicine. Numerous bulleted checklists help to emphasize some of the points made in the text, providing easy access to information. Diagnostic tools are explained in detail to the point of listing three tests that are not usually used unless more significant problems are suggested. The print is large and the pages look clean, clear, and crisp. Both black-and-white and full-color photographs appear throughout.-Marilyn Fairbanks, Azure IRC, Brockton High School, MA
