About the Author

Hannah Read-Baldrey is a stylist who works with leading international publications such as Vogue, Elle, Cath Kidston and Red magazines. Within the last few years she has joined forces with craft giant Hobbycraft, coming up with ideas and themes for the newly launched magazine. Everything Alice is Hannah's first craft book in which she is the stylist, the co-author and illustrator.

Christine Leech has been an avid crafter with more than fifteen years of experience art directing and leading newsstand magazines and a successful freelance illustration career. She has worked as art director in women's magazine publishing, working on New Woman, Marie Claire, Look and Fabulous. Everything Alice is Christine's first book of which she is the art director, co-author and designer.

I purchased this for my daughter who is an adult and loves Alice in Wonderland. This is an awsome book, it has crafts and receipes . Perfecet for the Alice lover.Not for children under 13. beautifully illustrated.
We will be making the bunny with clock just fantastic. Well worth the money.

Very eclectic mix of items - but all very pretty! There's a fair bit of cookery: comfits and cordials and cookies and cupcakes (sounds like a sentence out of Alice) And a wonderful teapot cake - and invitations, place-cards and aprons to set off your tea party.
A cute jewellery idea incorporating a dolls' tea service; a mobile with the Cheshire cat at the top; a March hare teacosy (complete with ears). And of course lavender dormice...
I couldn't quite see the link of some items with the book: much as I loved the furniture decorated with fabric or the floral 'Tweedledee & Tweedledum' shoe bags.
But it's all adorable and I think an older girl would love to attempt these projects. (Can't imagine buying it for an adult - not quite inspiring enough for a grown-up craft enthusiast.)

My daughter received this craft book from her Aunt. It was perfect because she really does love "Everything Alice". The book is filled with everything you would need to have your very own Mad Hatter Tea Party complete with diy costumes and accessories, food and decorations. It also has several ideas for creating "Wonderland" type home decor. Some of the crafts are simple and other require a little more skill, but we both have found things we love.
