Book Description

When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing.

Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.

An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.

With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Leighton totally delivers with this one! September 3, 2013
    Format:Kindle Edition
Marissa has been cold and heartless her whole life; she was bred that way. But when a case of mistaken identity gets her kidnapped and held hostage and then freed, well, she looks at life a little differently. So she decides it is time to start over and reinvent herself. And it starts with apologizing to her cousin, Olivia, who she has treated worst of all. And with a little help from Nash, maybe she can be the person she needs to be...the person she wants to be. With his help, she feels free. And maybe somewhere along the way she will be able to free him, too, of his demons.

    ***
But a part of me doesn't mind him intruding on my privacy. In fact, on some level, I crave it. I crave everything he represents. He is like rebellion. And freedom. Like a salvation of sorts. I just didn't know until recently that I needed saving.
    ***

Leighton, Leighton, Leighton!! Do you know how much I adore you? Do you know how happy I am to have been introduced to these fabulous characters or the wickedly amazing storyline you delivered book after book? So much emotion run rampant in your stories and I am truly glad to have been a part of it. You are one serious author to be reckoned with. And I look forward to much, much more of your work!

Hot {adjective} Definition: very high in temperature

This whole series is completely and utterly hot. Yes, if one word had to be used it would be that...HOT! And EVERYTHING FOR US was no different than the first two. Mrs. Leighton sure knows what she is doing when she writing certain scenes. Oh yes, you know what scenes I am talking about don't you? Those scenes that stay with you long after they are over; on constant replay in your mind. Oh la la!

When I say what I am about to say...

3.0 out of 5 stars Took me 5 days to read September 19, 2013
    By KRL
    Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I typically read books in about 2-3 days. 3 days tops! This book took me 5 days to complete. And before bed I would pick up an older book before starting it. This book just wasn't doing it for me. Her writing is great, but the story for book 3 was just lacking. Lacking emotion and the "umph" book 1 and 2 had. I also think it has to do with the fact that she is trying to get us to like the two unlikable characters in the book. Marissa who has changed and Nash who has issues.

There were parts of the story that were predictable and parts that were just anti-climatic in my opinion - especially the ending. The New Orleans "surprise" was unappealing and unnecessary - it didn't have real purpose give the reactions to it.

I like the author very much. Met her in Vegas and she was a sweetheart, but this book was just un-relatable unfortunately.

2.0 out of 5 stars Lots of skimming October 7, 2013
    By KarCal

Not my favorite by M. Leighton. It was a bit too long and it was really drawn out. Too much internal dialog. I did a lot of skimming to just get to the end to see what happened.

I do really like all the characters in this series but it was just not for me this time around!

    3.0 out of 5 stars I almost didn't make it! September 11, 2013
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Loved the beginning and the ending, but the story line between Nash and Marrisa was long and boring. Books 1 & 2 were good,4 stars. I barely made it through this one...fast forwarding and skipping most of the dialogue.

This wrap up novel was the absolute best ending to an amazing series! It's the perfect love story with the right amount of angst and lots of steamy love!! Thought it didn't get better than Cash but Nash has proven me wrong! Read these...you won't regret it!!

Everything for Us was a very different kind of story than its predecessors. Here, the story is focused on Nash, Cash's brother, and Marissa, Olivia's cousin. For some, this might be a refreshing twist and for others, it might be a change of scenery that they don't particularly enjoy. For me, I'd say it's a little bit of both. Everything felt a bit too rough and physical and I couldn't really feel the love a romance I was hoping for. Maybe that's what Leighton was going for, considering her two main characters in this book, which I respect and thought she did a great job at, but I didn't particularly love it. I did think that it was interesting to see the story finish from Nash's POV and it was necessary to how everything played out, which I did enjoy. However, as far as connecting with the characters, that didn't happen for me.

While I can totally understand why Nash is the way he is, especially as Marissa slowly cracks his shell and you learn bits and pieces of his past, he still never really grew on me. I can usually handle the "rough around the edges" bad guy, but I felt Nash was a bit too rough for my taste. I get it. He grew up in a life that no child should have to. Often times, he could've been more damaged than he was. Still, as far as personal appeal goes, it just didn't happen for me. Anyways, my personal preferences aside, I think Nash did some good character development throughout the book. Granted, it took until pretty much the very end, but given the way Leighton tells the story, the pacing never felt off, so there's that!

Marissa took a bit to grow on me, too. I never really saw anything wrong with her in particular, and it's been quite awhile since I read Down to You, so I forgot how terrible she was exactly, but I didn't really connect with her.

Possessed of an overactive imagination from early in her childhood, Michelle finally found an acceptable outlet for her fantastical visions: literary fiction. Having written over a dozen novels, these days Michelle enjoys letting her mind wander to more romantic settings with sexy Southern guys, much like the one she married and the ones you'll find in her latest books. A note from Michelle: I love coffee and chocolate, even more so when they are combined. I'm convinced that one day they could be the basis for world peace. I also love the color red and am seriously considering dying my hair.

I'm having a hard time with the price too. I feel that anything above 5$ is just to much for an ebook. Hopefully the price will come down after a few months...
