I thought this book was great. It's very well written and you can't help but laugh out loud to the illustrations. I just got it and it's already become a coffee table favorite. I can't wait for the next book!

It's impossible not to smile when reading this book. Everything about it is unique--from its quirky concept to the simple and playful illustrations. It makes me want a gorilla, which probably isn't practical. (But I'm still considering it.)

This is a must for your bookshelf. Bought it for myself, but I'll read it to my kids one day.

super fun to read!! enjoyed the style of both the story and illustrations.... i always knew gorillas had the capability to rip a human in half,, but i never knew of their gentle side... which this book brings out in many everyday (turned comedic after adding gorilla) situations... reading this increases my gorillappreciation and brings a smile to my face...

What a fun and educational read. This book points out lots of interesting facts about gorillas, while producing chuckle after chuckle. Great stuff. Oh, and I love the "gorillastrations"!

There are books about gorillas. And there are books that talk about how things could be better. This is one of the first books that tells you how things could be better WITH a gorilla. A master stroke of genius!

Gall and Soliven have answered the nagging question that has been on everyone's mind for the last few centuries: could life be improved by being best buds with an enormous gorilla? The answer is a resounding YESH. And they give plenty of examples to buttress their argument. I said buttress.

This guide is ever helpful in seeing the glass not half empty or half full, but held by a gorilla companion. Essential to anyone who needs to see the world through fur-colored glasses. I highly recommend!

...and who doesn't love gorillas? (Well, except really, really mean people.) This is an utterly delightful book that I return to whenever I need a chuckle, and reminds me how great life would be if I had a gorilla for a best buddy! Cleverly written and delightfully illustrated...I look forward to seeing more from these guys.

If that whole "Planet of the Apes" apocalyptic scenario ever happens, the gorillas would certainly spare the authors of the book, as they've done a great service to gorillakind. All kidding aside, this is one of the most clever and imaginative books I've come across in the past 5 years.
