I liked Tempted. Not a lot but after reading another Megan Hart novel I'm so hooked on her that I'm on auto-buy and auto-like :)
I hoped that Everything Changes will bring light on Alex The Mysterious. It did, a little. But after reading it I realized that I didn't only want the puzzle resolved but wanted even more emotions. I wanted him to Feel.
There is one m/m short&hot scene but the rest is rather literary erotica, where words create more and the phrases leave you thinking. It is the male perspective from Tempted and it bothered me. That was the point and it's one of the many realistic, human traits that Megan Hart applies so well. And I love her writing but I miss the happy-endings and the good feeling that romance novels bring.
Read it if you need something to hang to while waiting for Naked. Otherwise, if new to Megan Hart, try Broken. It's by far the best erotic/romance/fiction novel I've read.

After reading Tempted I really wanted to read Everything Changes. I was super disappointed with the cover as it is very misleading. I really really hate that! I think Tempted should have been titled "Everything Changes" and this book called "Tempted". It would have made more sense.

This was a nice short read that allowed the readers to dive into the mind of Alex. I really loved that because I was dying to read where his head was and the lead up to what happened between Jamie, Alex and Anne. I liked reading the "behind the scenes" so to speak. It certainly helped in understanding Tempted better. I read them one right after the other

After reading the other readers reviews I think I might have a different impression of the book had I read the prequel to this story. However, as it stands, I am left wondering where the HEA in this story is. I must admit that threesome stories are not my cup of tea because I always feel someone is getting the short end of the stick and it is usually the h. In this one the h definitely got left with a toothpick size stick. (SPOILER) She is left with a husband that IMO is not all that spectacular. The guy hands her out without talking to her first or taking her into consideration at all. He seems completely self-absorbed during the entire book and then doesn't even defend her when she is called a b***h. This author is a real hit and miss for me and this one was a miss. I wish that the h would have left her husband and find someone to cherish her. Isn't that what romance is about? Geesh! If you want to read a threesome book where all the characters were on a more leveled out playing field I would recommend Laid Bare (Lauren Dane).

After reading Tempted, I was anxious to read Everything Changes because it's told from Alex's POV. Unfortunately, his view of events doesn't differ much from Anne's so I felt like I was reading Tempted all over again. I like Megan Hart's writing, but I wished she would have pushed the envelope more with Alex and Jamie's relationship and the obvious homosexual undercurrent running through it. I felt like she wimped out on the whole gay thing, but I still enjoyed it.

Enjoyed it, however the story was told better in Tempted. It's a fast easy HOT read! BUT it seemed like I read it before. ****SPOILER**** There's a bit more with just Alex (one hot M/M scene) but I was hoping to feel more of Alex's emotions, like we did with Anne in Tempted and to understand more of what he was going through. Can't wait to see Alex again in Naked

This is an extension of the novel Tempted, in that it tells the same story but from Alex Kennedy’s point of view. Alex is the best friend of Jamie who comes for a summer visit and enjoys a ménage à trois with both Jamie and Jamie’s wife, Anne. Tempted was told exclusively from Anne’s point of view and it was a fascinating exploration of complex relationships: not only marriage, but friendships and family as well.
This novella is very short but it manages to fill in some of the holes that both Anne and the reader wondered about in the first book, including the intimate conversations between Alex and Jamie about not only their relationship but also the desire each share to indulge their passions with Anne.
We also get a little bit more–but not enough–information into the dynamics of Alex’s own family history. He’s a lonely man who is seeking love and acceptance and he finds both with Jamie and Anne.
Megan Hart writes with raw sensuality and tender human emotion and I very much enjoy her voice. There is graphic sex but it’s not just sex with a storyline in between; the story is as rich and entertaining as the sex and the characters are people you can care about and like. This story is almost more like an extended epilogue to Tempted. Readers should definitely read this series in order. I look forward to what’s coming next in Naked.

This is the story of book "Tempted" but told in Alex's point of view. Even though it is a short story I think this was the best story out of the three books in which Alex Kennedy was a character. The story starts off with Alex's transportation business being sold out from underneath him. He is kick out of the company that he started. Alex decides that he wanted to come back to his home town in Sandusky, Ohio. He ended up staying at a friend's Jamie's house. When James introduce Alex to his newlywed wife Annie Alex is immediately intrigue. He becomes more intrigued when James suggested Alex participate in a threesome fling with his wife. It was suppose to be a summer fling with no emotional attachments. It became so much more. Alex already harbor feelings for Jamie that became even more complicated when he starts to fall for Annie. This story was brilliantly written and although this story is "Tempted" told in Alex's point of view there are enough differences and new things about this story that to me makes it an excellent original short story of its own merit. The main issue or elephant in the room is address yet can the answer to the problem become a bigger problem in the future?
