Editorial Reviews

'Everything Comes And Goes' represents Branch's first project since she enjoyed her first country smash with 200's acclaimed album 'Stand Still, Look Pretty' by The Wreckers, the duo with which Branch made an inspired vocal and songwriting collaboration that was nominated for both a CMA Award and a Grammy. The popularity of The Wreckers helped establish Branch as a fixture of country radio. True to its philosophical title, 'Everything Come And Goes' documents what became a complicated and emotional time in the life of Branch, who first moved to Nashville four years ago with her musician husband Teddy Landau to make music and start a family. According to Branch, 'Everything Comes And Goes' - produced by John Leventhal and John Shanks ('My Two Johns,' Branch calls them with a laugh) - reflects what she calls 'two break-ups the past year or two.' Born in Sedona, Arizona, Branch took voice lessons at eight, got her first guitar by fourteen, and instantly became obsessed with songwriting. That same passion resulting in Branch releasing her first independent album 'Broken Bracelet' and signing her first major label record deal with Maverick before she turned eighteen.

I have gotten hold of 6 of the tracks on this upcoming CD and so far it is amazing. I love her new style and her voice is as good as ever if not better. I love all the tracks but my favorite has to be Crazy Ride, in this one she really shows off her vocal strength and the lyrics are simply amazing.

I have been listening to this album on repeat in my car for the past three days. I love every single song. Some of them are more "twangy/countryish" than others, but on the whole. a solid 6 song EP. I had high hopes, but had set my expectations low. I love love LOVE this album. and if you read any of my other CD reviews, you'll see that if I don't like a CD by my favorite artists, I will say so.

Each song is unique. There's no "blandness" here. And I am especially moved by "I Want Tears". Just gorgeous. Please buy this. I want a full CD from this amazing singer/songwriter, please. Again....welcome back Ms. Branch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great artist, January 13, 2012

Love an artist that has brains behind their work. You can always tell whom the really talented musicians are. The ones that don't compromise their BELIEFS and their love of music for greed yet still succeed are to be cherished. It doesn't matter what your typical "type" of music you are into to appreciate brilliance. Michelle Branch exudes such brilliance.
