Amazing,

I have gotten hold of 6 of the tracks on this upcoming CD and so far it is amazing. I love her new style and her voice is as good as ever if not better. I love all the tracks but my favorite has to be Crazy Ride, in this one she really shows off her vocal strength and the lyrics are simply amazing.

I have been listening to this album on repeat in my car for the past three days. I love every single song. Some of them are more "twangy/countryish" than others, but on the whole. a solid 6 song EP. I had high hopes, but had set my expectations low. I love love LOVE this album. and if you read any of my other CD reviews, you'll see that if I don't like a CD by my favorite artists, I will say so.
Each song is unique. There's no "blandness" here. And I am especially moved by "I Want Tears". Just gorgeous. Please buy this. I want a full CD from this amazing singer/songwriter, please. Again....welcome back Ms. Branch.

Love an artist that has brains behind their work. You can always tell whom the really talented musicians are. The ones that don't compromise their BELIEFS and their love of music for greed yet still succeed are to be cherished. It doesn't matter what your typical "type" of music you are into to appreciate brilliance. Michelle Branch exudes such brilliance.

Some classic Michelle, meets country twist,

This EP has some classic Michelle sound (Sooner or Later), with the country twist she had from The Wreckers evident (Ready To Let You Go). By far the standout track is 'I Want Tears', it should've been a single. Great heart felt lyrics, with great production.
If you are a Michelle fan this EP will take you back and make you remember why you are a fan while you await her first solo album in 7 years, back to her rock/pop roots due later this year called 'West Coast Time'. If you aren't a dedicated fan it is worth downloading 'I want tears' and 'sooner or later' from amazon or itunes.

I like michelle branch. However I am glad I paid so little for the six songs I get. I want more from her, and she is singing better than before. Overall, I am very happy with what I got. I wouldn't be so happy for thirteen dollars that is for sure.

Michelle Branch is the best. Her music and lyrics are wonderful. Hopefully she will not fade away but continue to publish music.

Michelle Branch comes back!! (hardcore fan),
This review is from: Everything Comes and Goes (Audio CD)
I was psyched when I saw this item's cover soon to be released on Amazon & i absolutly couldn't wait for Michelle's third solo album to come out! Since Vanessa Carlton (I'm a nessaholic!) is taking way too long to release "Rabbits on the Run." I was mad because stores like Wal-Mart and Best Buy rarely sell EP's so I ordered this online at a local Spin Records. I already listened to "Sooner or Later" and absolutly loved it, so I couldn't wait to hear the songs on this. When I got the album, I sort of was a bad fan by not really listening to it until a month later, but I love it! "Summertime" is now one of my all time favorite Michelle Branch songs because it is so beautiful and captivating (I'm definitely a person of summer).
A lot of reviews I keep hearing talk about how Michelle goes into country and complain about it. For me, since I'm a loyal fan, I honestly couldn't care less as long as it sounded like her original songs I know and love. Plus, who cares if she goes country, it still sounds like her "Spirit Room" and "Hotel Paper" work to me since its her singing it. To finalize it, this is a great EP introducing the upcoming "A different kind of country," and no one should trash this great artist. As long as Michelle keeps on coming, I'll continue to support her forever like I always have been.

I love all the song on the EP especially Sooner or Later, I Want Tears, and Everything Comes and Goes. I've loved Michelle's music for years. This CD has a little bit of a country sound to it similar to The Wreckers but still has the feel of some of her other music.

I really love this EP, even though it only has 6 songs on it, they are all GOLD!!!! Definitely a must-have for all hardcore Michelle Branch fans, especially if you like the stuff she did with The Wreckers. While her sound on this EP is way more country than The Spirit Room and Hotel Paper, I still really love it and the direction she is taking seems to fit her quite nicely. I ordered this from New Zealand and it got to me in a matter of weeks which was AWESOME! Thanks Amazon :-)

Good but highly disappointing...,

After a long hiatus, Michelle Branch returns to her solo career with a six track EP, Everything Comes and Goes. The songs are VERY heavily influenced by country music and also sound like they belong more on a Wreckers album (the country project she does when she is not making solo records) than on the more pop/rock oriented music she is known for making in the past. The songs aren't bad, but if you were expecting something in the vein of her last couple of albums, you will likely be let down here. There's nothing wrong with an artist moving in a new direction, but between the the fact that its a glorified 6 song CD single and the music is not exactly what I was hoping for leaves me with disappointment.
