Basically Kinesis are amazing. This record is no exception. All three songs are packed with thought provoking lyrics and rocking guitars. One day, soon, they will be BIG...

3.0 out of 5 stars A promising single, January 5, 2003
By

This review is from: Everything Destroys Itself (Audio CD)
Kinesis certainly have a lot of energy in this track. It is extremely well produced by Dave Eringa and the rush of guitars and hoarsely screamed vocals is thrilling every time. Lyrically, its a bit close to a Manic Street Preachers tribute for comfort ('what is morality?/just another useless plea/recount the facts/remove the smile' and the general use of the word 'comatose'), though the line 'we accuse your television' is a good one. Musically it resembles At The Drive In, early Idlewild, etc, a likable punk-metal thrash. This single won't change the world, and the vocals, which never really discover the concept of notes, would pall over the course of an album while they sound fairly cool on one song. However its an energetic track which would sound great live or to mosh to and the general sound is a promising one.
