This is a great "book"! I have Kindle for iPhone and was looking forward to giving my oldest son more Spanish practice on it (7 years old). He loves the FlipCards Spanish App on there, and I was hoping for even more phrases, even if there isn't any audio Spanish on it.

I was quite pleased with the information and the great games. But since they are all (or almost all) for written practice, this is a bit of a silly purchase for a Kindle or iPhone. I think he'll still enjoy reading through the words, and using the phonetic spelling tools, but he can't do any of the activities. I looked into downloading it from my media library on amazon, and it said that feature wasn't available for this title. If it had a print feature, I'd be THRILLED with this purchase.

So, Five Stars for content, 1 star for usability = average of three stars. Wish it was more useful.

I am an Spanish instructor and love to use this book with my students, ages 6-8. It is fun and easy to understand while students learn Spanish.

I don't recomment this activity book for beginners, it has way too many things going on,it jumps from one thing to another without letting the student process it first. for the most part the pronunciation is good, but some things are way off for example: dog = perro (pair-rroh, should be (peh-rroh), also peas=guisantes(ghee-SAN-tays), should be (ghee-SAN-tess). This book would be better for someone who has had at least a year of Spanish, and is comfortable and familiar with the pronunciation.
