This is a great book! I have been using the author's website on about.com for some time now and have always enjoyed her teaching approach. She takes that approach to this book. Not only is the book helping me better understand the French language, but it's helping me with my English! Public schools in the U.S. unfotunately do not focus very much attentiion on grammar. This makes it more difficult for most Americans to learn a new language.
Laura Lawless has created a nice format for this book. It has a nice flow that is more organized than most books of this style that I have used. Of course, you'll still have to put the work in to learn the concepts, but Laura has created a great book to help make it easier! Well worth the money! Mark

This is a great book. It has been very helpful in my French language classes. It clearly explains a lot of the nuances of the French language.
