I bought this for my 5 year-old grandaughter. She is an avid horse fan and rider. She loved the book, which was full of age-appropriate information regarding horses.

Even though my grand daugther is only 4 she really enjoys listening to this book read to her. I'm sure it is written for older children but since she is so in love with horses right now she hangs on every word. My husband & I have learned a few things too.
