i first heard of anna vissi when i visited my boyfriend in greece last december....then i came back for holidays this past june and came across the whole cd, i thought i would give it a try since everyone in the record shop was talking sooo good about it. well, let me tell you guys, the lady is AMAZING: the songs are finely crafted and produced. this is a breakthrough record. most of it has been supervised by hit-producing team METRO (Cher, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and Lara Fabian - and let's not forget enrique and ricky to add some latino flavour to their list...) and Peter Asher (the name srings a bell? get a copy of Cher's 1989 HEART OF STONE...), it was just right the final package turned out to be this cool. my favourite songs are STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU (i have the feeling this could be a major hit if only Lara Fabian would pick on it...) and ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS (there must've been some major copyright problem with Kylie Minogue over this one, but Anna's version is MILES away far better...). Other hits would be KICK THE HABIT and NO MORE THE FOOL (she sounds like Bonnie Tyler and this is a good sign...vocal range is always a good hint to sort out a good singer fr the rest). I am glad Sakis introduced me to her, she is the proof that finally the market is orienting through a good performer and not their nationality only: celine dion has taken the first step, Lara Fabian and Anna Vissi have proven that an excellent production can break through national borders...just wait and see for the upcoming Laura Pausini english debut later this year...i had a taste of the David Foster pre-production...the final result will knock u off!!!! Anna, great job, looking forward for the next english effort...

I am a radio producer in London. A month ago a Fan of Anna Vissi called me and told me to listen "Everything I Am". I didn't expected to Listen something interesting. I was wrong.

Everything i Am is the best album i've listen the Last months.

Anna has an Angel's voice and her performance is amazing. In her cd she achieved to include various music genres.

You have to listen the following songs:

Everything i am : A song that is what our days want. It is her first single and you can find remixes by Almighty (great), Eiffl 65 (nice too), Groove Brothers. There is also a remix by dj Amanda that is not included on the single but you can find it at her website.

On a night like this : A version that came out before Kylie's and i think that is better.

Kick the Habit : A fantastic breathtaking ballad. Her voice here reminds me of Bonnie Tyler (but it is sweeter).

After you : Another great ballad with a very interesting composing.

No more the fool : I knew this song from Elkie Brooks. I usually don't like arrangers but this one manages to change the song from a winsome slow song to an excellent power ballad.

Way out : It has a bluesy R&B groove that has Anna Vissi slipping down a minor scale.

Still in Love with you : I think that this is gonna be the next single. It is a very nice song that's gonna lift you up.

There is also a nice remix of "I Was made for Lovin' you" and some other songs that you have to listen.

I think that we are very close to the day that everyone will find out the Greece's biggest secret!

I recently bought this Cd, because I am crazy for Anna Vissi, and have all her other Cd's, exept this one. When I herd the Cd, I was blown away. I expected it to be good, because Anna Vissi has a great voice, but not this good. I really liked the songs that her long time song writter Nikos Karvelas and ex-husban wrote.(Still in love with you, Kick the habit, Everything I am, and Way out). On this Cd, Anna Vissi sing very nice ballads, as well as "dance" songs.(Pop-Rock) I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS CD!!!! Also, she will be releasing her new english language Cd, sometime in Febuary of 2005. She has already released her single "Call Me".

Anna Vissi is really the best singer I have ever heard!!! All my friends, here in England, are crazy about Anna! They love her too much!!! "Everything I Am" is an album FULL of hits!!! It is really THE FIRST!!! Just hearing Anna's voice you feel like travelling in Paradise! Greeks must be pround about her! I have heard and Greeks songs (I couldn't understand of course what she was singing but her passion was incredible)and she is simply the best!!! I was a fun of Kylie but Anna is much-much better than her of course!!! Her performance was super!!! To tell you the truth I am really in love with her beauty & her voice!!! MORO MOU is a great song!!! Anna, please keep on going! I love your work! Only if you listen her you will understand what I am writing down!!! "Everything I am" and all the songs written by Nikos Karvelas (if I remember the name...)are really GREAT!!! Anna, I didn't know nothing about you... but now I understand why you are such a lovely singer to your country!!! I LOVE YOU MORO MOU!!! P.S: Sorry Andreas Komodromos, but your critic is really terrible! I think that you hate Anna! why? Your mark about "Everything I Am" it is really OUT OF REALITY!!!

I was recently turned on to Anna's CD 'Everything I Am' by some people who were blasting 'Kick The Habit' from their car stereo system at a local Greek Church festival here in Cleveland, Ohio! I had heard of Anna Vissi, but never bought any music of hers until this CD. Anyway, as I was walking by, I asked these kids what they were playing, so they showed me the CD. I went to 'Borders Music' store the next day and picked it up. There are some real pretty tunes on here, but most of the disc is pure, unadulterated, high-energy dance music with just the right amount of 'pep' and tempo. The songs are excellent, the production and sonics are tight, and the vocals world class! The great KISS remake 'I Was Made For Loving You' is a hoot (always loved that song, and KISS)! With the proper marketing, I am sure this release could have gone gold or platinum here in the U.S. Anna Vissi is a total babe in my book, and I am definitely going to pick up her Greek language CD's as well! Anna is a great talent for sure! YASOU ANNA!!!!!!

well, don't have much to say. just hadn't heard of that anna vissi before until last march , when she gave a concert in the royal albert hall. being fully unaware of this singer's songs, moves , past, i just decided to go because some friends of mine were going. well, i must admit that she was stunning! eventhough most songs were in greek , she surprised me with her wonderful voice, which is , however, accompanied by great vocal capacities and sexy looks. what's more, she's a fantastic performer as well. she interpreted in a magnificent way different - even divergent- music genres, such as dance, pop, passionate ballads, rock tracks. nevertheless, when i asked if there were any albums in the market, i got "not yet" as an answer, of course meaning not any international ones. i forgot about her for quite a while, when some weeks ago, i heard that her debut international album was out! i was a bit "circumspect" in the beginning, as i was not sure if it would be worth the money. but when i heard the dance title track, the surprising but great cover on kiss's "i was made for lovin' you", the passionate ballad "kick the habit" and the "sensitive" country song "forgive me this", i lost no time and got it! well, its really good! apart from the aforementioned songs, check out "still in love with you", "on a night like this" (which, as i found out, was the original version, before kylie minogue's) "no tomorrow" and "way out". i think this lady has come to stay and we will have to pay some real attention to her! ps. i hope she's coming for a concert soon with the whole international album this time

Great work, great album, great songs. Everything she is, is just "great". The ballads of the album are great. Her voice. Oh god! This gorgeous voice! "still in love with you" would do very good as a single, I think. Her performance at "kick the habbit" and "no more the fool" is brilliant. Nothing else I can say. Go out there and buy it...

What I received was a CD with two tracks only of the same song.

very good album by the greek diva.Still in love with u, after u, i was made for loving you and supernatural love are brilliant pop songs.she was worth a shot outside greece but she didnt get it.she had a sold out concert in the Royal Albert Hall in London and the album went gold in greece and cyprus.

BECAUSE SONY REFUSED TO RELEASE IT IN THE REST OF THE WORLD PRIMARILY BECAUSE ANNA IS 44 YEARS OLD AND BELIEVED SHE COULDNT BE BIG.BIG MISTAKE. TRACKS LIKE 'STILL IN LOVE WITH U', 'MORO MOU'(MY BABY), 'EVERYTHING I AM', COVER VERSION OF ELKIE BROOKS'S 'NO MORE THE FOOL'(SHE DOES IT BRILLIANTLY) AND THE ORIGINAL 'ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS' BEFORE KYLIE'S SUPER REMIX ARE EQUAL AND SUPERIOR TO OTHER POP TRACKS!CHECK SOME GREAT DANCE TRACKS( TRACKS 6 AND 9) AND U WILL AGREE THAT AT LEAST SHE WAS WORTH A TRY.EXCELLENT VOICE AND A GREAT PERFORMER!SAVE THE best for last?'FORGIVE ME THIS'!
