Seems like everyone agrees with me here...this is a great book! Gave it as a gift to 20 of my clients....all came back with positive feedback. Some of the chapters were better than others, but still the best business book I have read in awhile.

I really hate Canadiana books....but I sincerely liked this one. Brody and Raffa should be commended for not only writing a great book, but giving their proceeds to Charity as well. Kudos.

I found 'Moving an Elephant with a Mouse' by Rob McEwen one of the most compelling chapters. One of B.C.'s top wealth managers, Thane Stenner, speaks to the 'Entrepreneurial Blind Spot' that often restricts vision and focus on the end-result, let alone managing change.
Frankly, McEwen outlines 'slight edge thinking' that helps take the ordinary to the extra-ordinary. 'Reminds me of a simple equation that reflects this very tenet underlying the change process. If you multiply 3x3x3x3x3, you get 243. By employing the strategies that McEwen espouses, you start operating at the 4x4x4x4x4 level. The result? 1024! Look at the impact you can have in business by making small, slight adjustments to achieve exponential results!

I have a small business at home and found this book to be an excellent resource. I was also inspired by the Canadian focus of the book. Another excellent book that I find very useful is Stop Working by Rohan Hall which shows how to expose our products to the global marketplace. I recommend both books very highly.

This book is a revelation as to how being quintessentially Canadian can lead to start up success. Definitely a must read for Canadian entrepreneurs in all industries.

This is not just a good book, but a great book! For a small business owner and entrepreneur struggling to maximize profits and grow, it instills me with confidence and hope; and offers clearly illustrated and intelligent insights into how I can become increasingly successful. The nuggets that I am digging up reinforces my existing knowledge and provides new and different ways to look at the numerous relevant subjects covered. For someone who has very little time to read, I couldn't put this book down.

Here is an interesting, bold, and insightful book on the best and the brightest business stories from Canada's finest 'business builders'...Raffa and Brody have compiled and compacted a fabulous read that will incite all to get into the office early the next day to apply...

It's not often I come across a business book this engaging and easy to read; and almost never one about Canadians. Brody's and Raffa's book is not only inspirational, but its lessons are cleverly intertwined with first hand accounts of truly successful business people. As an aside, by donating their profits from this book to Junior Achievement Canada, the authors may very well give rise to future Canadian business stars.

Having enjoyed Mr. Brody's last book Innovation Nation, I was pleased to see him once again exposing the business world to the leadership and innovation found in Canada. This time with co-author David Raffa, they've produced an interesting and compelling exposé about Canadian business leaders and how our cultural uniqueness, perspective and spirit puts us at the leading edge. This is a great business resource everybody can learn from - and a fun read to boot. Made me proud to be a Canadian entrepreneur.
