If you are a new nurse, having graduated in the last year or so, OR if you're in your last semester of nursing schhol, I highly recommend this book for you. I've been a registered nurse for the last 15 years, and there is not one person in my nursing class who wouldn't have benefitted from reading this book.
It isn't for everybody...nurses and maybe some family members of nurses. If you have a new or graduating nurse in your family, this book makes an excellent gift.

When I started reading this book I could not put it down it is full with everything a new nurse wants to know, 5 stars!

I am a preceptor at a large hospital and I give this book to all the nurses I train. It is great, to the point, and everyone loves it. The book would also be a great graduation present to nursing students because school world is so different from a real nurses working world. The book is a great bridge of those two.

This is a great preview for any graduate, advice is very practical and the author seems to have a lot of first hand experiences packed into an easy to read format. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an inside track on attitudes and performances valued in the first year nursing world.

The book is great resource for nurses who just graduated or a nurse who wants to know more about being a nurse. It is easy to read and the book has a lot of information that is useful. Very useful information. I thought the book had the right amount of pages. I recommend this book.

This book was brand new when received!! It gives a realistic approach to the nursing career field and helps you to prepare for the next step.

I really love this book it will guide you and give a lot of tips when you are starting your career as a nurse.Knowing these things will make you confident and have the foresight on the path you choose with your career as a nurse at the same time you will realize a lot of things about your chosen career.I will strongly recommend this book to all the newly graduate nurses.

I bought this for my step father, who is studying to become a nurse and surgical technician. He generally does not like to read, but this book is easily accessible and he finds it very helpful.
