5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book on AS, April 3, 2005
This review is from: The Everything Parent's Guide To Children With Asperger's Syndrome: Help, Hope, And Guidance (Everything (Parenting)) (Paperback)
This is a must read book if your child has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. I found it very informative and helpful. The author not only understands how AS kids think he gives wonderful advice about how to deal with just about any problem that they might face from childhood through college.

I have read just about every book I can get my hands on since my son was diagnosed and this is one of the better ones. I would highly recommend this book to parents and teachers of children with AS. I will be giving a copy of this book to every teacher my son has!

5.0 out of 5 stars A WONDERFUL RESOURCE, January 11, 2005
This review is from: The Everything Parent's Guide To Children With Asperger's Syndrome: Help, Hope, And Guidance (Everything (Parenting)) (Paperback)
This book is an invaluable resource for anyone who knows or works with individuals on the autism spectrum.
My daughter has aspergers syndrome, and I was so thrilled to find many of my questions, some of which I was too afraid to ask, answered gently and honestly in this book. I was so impressed, actually, that I immediately bought copies for the grandparents, so that they can understand our child better, as well.
This book is the Asperger's Parent equivalent of "What to Expect when You're Expecting".
Not only will parents find it helpful, but professionals working with children with Aspergers/Autism.

5.0 out of 5 stars A True Blessing for my Family!, April 18, 2006
This review is from: The Everything Parent's Guide To Children With Asperger's Syndrome: Help, Hope, And Guidance (Everything (Parenting)) (Paperback)
After my 11 yr old was diagnosed with Asperger's our doctor loaned me her copy of this book. By chapter two I had ordered my own copy.
Clear examples, straight forward language, no mumbo-jumbo. But enough love, understanding and humor to allow any one to appreciate how special our Aspie family members really are.
