This book starts by assuming you have no knowledge of cards or poker. Walks you through the hand rankings, into the basics of table play.
Transitions well into mid level tactics like determining odds and probablities of hands, including pot odds and bluffing. Follows up with advanced topics like classifying opponents, mentally preparing for play, and knowing when to quit. Not really a "system" book, just a solid primer for poker play. Money well spent. |
