Wonderfully Meaningful and Amusing,
By A Customer
This review is from: Everything Possible (Audio CD)
Fred Small brings new focus to the dying art of folk singing. His songs tell stories that in their truthfullness bring hope, commitment and joy to the listener. You will laugh and you will cry- you will be forever changed. One listen and you'll be a fan for life.

Rediscovered at 19,
This review is from: Everything Possible (Audio CD)
I used to listen to Fred Small all the time when I was younger, and just a couple weeks ago I suddenly got "Hot Frogs on the Loose" stuck in my head for the first time in ten years. So I bought Everything Possible and honestly, it's still as good as it was when I was little. Fred Small himself can sometimes be a bit too saccharine for my 19-year old liking, but the songs are awesome!!! Looking back on this as my childhood music I can understand why I'm such a raging liberal -- if you want to brainwash your children the right way, have them listen to songs with lyrics like like "too many people having too many babies" and "some women love women some men love men" -- he teaches millions of lessons on this one album, most of them about love. It's really great. I've been driving my poor cynical roommate crazy. and I gave the CD as a gift to the kids I babysit. BUY IT!!!

More than worth it,

Fred Small is one of the best folksingers born in the second half of the 20th century. This album was his last before going to Harvard Divinity School "to learn to be a divinity." I wish I could've been at this concert. Definitely one of his strongest albums.
