1.0 out of 5 stars Total waste of time! Grateful I didnt pay for it.
I got this book from my local library. I am SO glad I didn't pay for it!
I have fount only 1 recipe with five ingredients! Even the recipe for scrambled eggs with pesto has 7 ingredients and one of them is "Pesto" which is a recipe with 13 ingredients in it!
And the 30 minutes seems to pertain to cooking time. Also this cookbook has no pictures. Requires as...

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book with delicious recipes., March 28, 2011
This review is from: The Everything Quick And Easy 30-minute, 5-ingredient Cookbook: 300 Delicious Recipes for Busy Cooks (Everything (Cooking)) (Paperback)
This book is excellent and the recipes are delicious and foolproof. My family has loved all of the recipes I've prepared from it. They're quick and easy and classic with a twist.

If some reviewers would actually READ the book before reviewing, they would see that Ms. Larsen doesn't count oil, water, flour, and seasonings in the five ingredient count. It's helpful to know the parameters of a book before you start cooking, let alone write a review. And there IS no recipe for pesto in the book. ALL of the recipes are five ingredient and meet that standard.

This is a wonderful cookbook and lives up to the title of The Everything Quick And Easy 30-minute, 5-ingredient Cookbook. I have several of Linda Larsen's cookbooks and I rate her right up there with the top cookbook authors. I think people should be truthful and fair when giving reviews of any products.....and be sure they are actually familiar with them.

5.0 out of 5 stars 30 Minute 5 ingredient Cookbook by Larsen, March 29, 2011
This review is from: The Everything Quick And Easy 30-minute, 5-ingredient Cookbook: 300 Delicious Recipes for Busy Cooks (Everything (Cooking)) (Paperback)
I've been so pleased with the straightforward style and simple techniques used in this book. My raving about it caused it to disappear because my college daughter lifted it. It's absolutely perfect for beginning cooks, especially students with abilities but few techniques. It's absolutely perfect for cooks with little time but lots of expertise as well. I'm a Family and Consumer Science teacher who adores every book I have written by Linda Larsen. I don't think you can go wrong with her authorship. I absolutely love her books because they're well written. I can't rave about Linda Larsen enough: I think "Mommy of chickpea" has confused this author with someone else.

And the 30 minutes seems to pertain to cooking time. Also this cookbook has no pictures. Requires as many ingredients as any other book and prep time can take hours and require extra tools! Get something by one of the famous cooks; this was a waste of money and time!
