A Marriage Blessing

Most gracious God, we give You thanks for Your tender love in sending Jesus Christ to come among us, to be born of a human mother, and to make the way of the cross to be the way of life.

We thank You, also, for consecrating the union of man and woman in His name. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, pour out the abundance of Your blessing upon this man and this woman. PERFECT PAIR PIZZA-PITA SNACKS

2 whole-wheat pita breads
4 teaspoons basil pesto
1 cup cottage cheese
2 tablespoons Roma tomatoes, chopped
2 teaspoons fresh basil, chopped
Fresh Parmesan cheese (optional)

Toast pita breads until they are crispy and firm. Spread half of the pesto on each pita. Next, spread half of the cottage
cheese on each pita. Top with chopped tomato and fresh basil. If desired, sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan cheese. Slice each pita into two or four wedges and enjoy!

Then I recommend picking up a copy of Everything Romance by Todd Hafer.

This book is loaded with short stories, poems, quotes, facts, scripture and notes on everything love presented in gorgeous colors and fonts that set the mood to passion from the first turn of the page.

While not necessarily designed as a sit and read format, this book is perfect to glance through for intimate quick reading either as an individual mood booster or part of a romantic evening with someone special. Its perfectly varied order allows for fun and continually fresh casual reading while still offering a well-organized index to locate exactly what you want when you need a specific passage or topic.

The perfect gift for a wedding or anniversary or a personal choice to share with you special someone, this book makes a wonderful addition to any library. I highly recommend it to anyone as a fresh read on the world's greatest and most important topic: love.

This is a really cute book. It definitely has a lot of cute little ideas for you and your spouse. It has poems, date ideas, trivia, gift ideas, stories, recipes, scriptures and advise. One fact in this book is if you make to 100 years of marriage, you should be purchasing a 10 karat diamond. How cute is that? I would recommend this book to all married couples, and it is a great gift idea for newlyweds!

Written and compiled by award-winning authors,Todd Hafer, David Bordon and Tom Winters, this giftbook is the perfect addition to a romantic couple's library. It would also make a great reference book for romance authors.

* Love boosters "to add fun, zine and zest"
* Love trivia
* Love recpies
* Love advice for the digital age

I like everything about this book, from its charming cover to the adorable heart page for writing your "To" and "From."

Some of my favorite parts of the book were the quotes, trivia and recipes. I also liked the handy index section in the back since there's not a table of contents. I give this book 3 out of 5 stars. I liked it a lot, but I didn't love it. I would have liked more ideas than stories, but that's a personal preference. It makes a lovely gift for someone to give a newly engaged/married couple or for lovers to give to one another.
