A day in the life of an RN,
By
This review is from: For Everything There Is A Season (Paperback)
As a legal professional, I have enjoyed reading Ms. Kephart's poetry at Passions in Poetry, and was so very pleased when she came to publish her first book, "For Everything There Is a Season". A skilled poet, an accomplished RN, a human with very personal feelings, Ms. Kephart brings out the tender foibles of every human, and how we deal with our own self-made problems.
She also touches on the problems of nature; the ones for which we are not responsible, but take responsibility for. She provides a gentle hand to undermine the pain of death; she lifts up the birth of love. In each and every passage, she says, "this is life, now we live it." Taking on the responsiblity of saying, "this is how it is" brings to all who read Ms. Kephart's works the true meaning of living.

The book "For Everything There Is A Season" by Ruth Kephart is the kind of book that reaches out and grabs you--the kind of read that just won't let you go.
If you're into real life, with its tragedy, laughter, and heartache, this book is for you. I couldn't put it down. Robert E. Jordan

For Everything There Is A Season
For Everything There Is A Season is a book of poetry that will have you spellbound from the moment you pick it up. Ruth Kephart's love of life and wisdom show in her unique poetry. She captures the true spirt of what is most important in our lives...family, friends and love. Her grasp of human nature and the joy and pain of life are amazing. I smiled, I laughed, I cried while reading these touching poems. One certainly does not need to be a lover of poetry to appreciate the value of the words contained between the covers of this book. Although this is her first book, I don't expect, nor hope, that this will be her last. |
