I gave this a 5 STAR! It is actually written for children to either read by themselves or have an adult read to them.
It is very cute and it shows many different animals and characters with beards. It will make you laugh. It is a silly
book that has each picture in a beard with a little poem throughout. I liked it. I also liked seeing the pictures of
the men when they were little. This is just a fun book. Very light. Nothing serious. If you purchase it, be prepared
to laugh! I would highly recommend it!

I'm not a Duck Dynasty fan - in fact, I've never watched even part of an episode - but I have to admit that I found this book amusing. In all honesty, I think adults will find this book much funnier than kids, but maybe I'm not giving kids enough credit. I mean... beard on things are pretty silly, plus the phrasing is clever and catchy.

The Robertson family, stars of the A & E show DUCK DYNASTY, already have a large string of merchandise, several books, and at least a couple of albums for sale. Now, they have put together a children’s book: EVERYTHING’S BETTER WITH A BEARD. The book has a child questioning the Robertsons what’s so great about a beard and lists some of the negatives about having a beard, such as that it gets in your soup. Then the Robertsons explain many of the positive things about having a beard and say that everything’s better with a beard. This is followed by pictures of everything from rubber ducks to semi trucks with beards. The book is written in rhyming verse, but some of the rhymes don’t work very well (they are more like near rhymes). Although EVERYTHING’S BETTER WITH A BEARD has some amusement for everyone, it’s really a book oriented towards children who are fans of the show. If a child you know is a fan of DUCK DYNASTY, they will love this book.

Ok lets just say that I felt a might stupid when this book arrived. I bought it for the Hubster for his birthday. And so when it came in ..........I realized my mistake! But it made a good gag gift. I told him that this would help his reading skills!

Ordered this for a little guy who is very dear to us. He opened it and immediately giggled "Mona Lisa doesn't have a beard"!!! He is still reading the book every night (according to his parents).

I use this when I sub at elementary school. The students love it, maybe because they see me with a beard. Breaking down barriers in a fun way. Silly, Dr. Seuss would admire this.

Very cute book. I liked it a lot and so did the children who read it with me. It is funny and a pleasant way to spend time with your child. If you enjoy the Duck Dynasty, I believe you will enjoy this book, too. It makes a nice gift for somebody, too. I recommend this book for good fun.

My husband and I enjoy watching Duck Dynasty, so I purchased this book after seeing it at Sam's for our 6-month old's Easter basket. He has really enjoyed this book. I like the rhythm to it. I'm thinking of buying it for a friend's upcoming baby shower for her son.

I bought this for my grandsons for Christmas - hopefully, they'll still be into the Robertsons then. It's a cute book-nothing special. Maybe if the beards were made of hair, it could be cuter for an ever younger child.
