Britney's best,
By
This review is from: Everytime (Audio CD)
The song "Everytime" is Britney's most beautiful ballad. Though it states another writer, from interviews you'll see that Miss Spears composed this tune all herself, from the haunting lyrics to the simple and complex melody; sure, the other woman may have helped on instruments used other than the piano for the CD track, but know this: BRITNEY IS THE SOLE COMPOSER OF THE SONG. It is her most personal song and one of her first that she sounds attached to on an emotional level (being that is about her ex Justin Timberlake). Not only does this song sound good but she does too, and her unique throatinesss is perfectly set to the background as she glides fragiley through it. The remixes are worthy, but the original -almost ethereal in effect- stands far superior to anything any other DJs or writers can add.

A Perfect Single!...and i mean it!!,
By Vinudb "Music Fanatic" (Trinidad) - See all my reviews

Britney Spears' new single 'everytime' is a hauntily beautiful ballad. i think that the arrangement of this song is quite beautiful, the piano melody is really exquisite and the accompanying strings go hand in hand. the music gets quite dramatic at the pre-chorus and can send shivers down your spine.
The remixes included on the single are all very good! they all keep the essence of the song and compliment the song really well, none of these remixes clash with the original tune. They are all executed flawlessly. the 'Hi-bias radio mix' is a pop/dance remix. it gives the song quite an energetic feel and isn't very hardcore dance so your everyday joe can easily like this...this could have easily been the original version. the 'above & beyond radio mix' is the best remix out of all 3 in my opinion, of coarse i'm abit biased since i'm a huge fan of above and beyond. all you trance junkies looking for a good beat will find solace in this song. above and beyond just never fails to please!. the last mix is the 'scumfrog vocal mix' and the longest i might add, coming in at a little under 10 minutes. don't let it's length scare you, scumfrog has made a remix that ranks with the other 2. this one is a kinda techno/trance mix and has a very mysterious vibe to it. the synth that is mostly repeated throughout the song, sounds really eerie and interesting...a definite head bopping beat that'll get you hooked on this remix. Overall this is her best single yet...great song and EXCELLENT remixes! it's a no-brainer that you should get this!

Ballad of 2004,
By Nobody... (Where-ever...) - See all my reviews

Everytime is Britneys best ballad period. The first time I heard this song I fell in love with it.From the relaxing music box, to the breathy vocals, to the fantastic lyrics this song is without a doubt one of the best ballads I have ever heard in my life. And the fact that Britney mostly wrote this song herself makes it that much better. Great single from in the zone.5 stars.

Some of the remixes are great,

The Scumfrog Vocal Mix is fantastic, electronic, mood-altering mesmeria that really only uses a few snippets from Spears' vocal as a launching point. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Above and Beyond's Club Mix is a distant cousin to the Scumfrog track, with all the vocals and a few Harold Faltermeyer-ish synth passages thrown in for melancholic effect. Travels along briskly but ephemerally. Even if you're not a Spears fan, this is good techno.

Beautiful Melody,

Everytime is a great song and probably the best song I've heard from Britney Spears. The single was great all-around. All of the other re-mixes on there to Everytime are pretty good, too. I'm glad I purchased it.

Britney Spears, "Everytime [Import CD Single]",
By
This review is from: Everytime (Audio CD)
Granted that this is Britney Spears co-writing and performing this song, it is absolutely beautiful. "Everytime" is a beautiful piano-vocal ballad about love lost due to hurting someone, and then realizing the mistake one has made. Musically, and lyrically, this song is rich. The Hi-Bias Radio Mix is somewhat similar to the original version, but holds on to it's own identity. The Above & Beyond Radio Mix (Delerium, "Silence 2004"; Vivian Green, "Emotional Rollercoaster") is a Euro-club remix, signature of the the remixers' style. The last track is the The Scumfrog Vocal Mix (Dido, "White Flag"; Lucy Woodward, "Blindsided"), a haunting 10 minute club. The Scumfrog did good work here: he provided a nice beat, as well as nice melodic ideas and good electronic alterations of Britney's voice. The Valentin Remix of "Evereytime" was not provided her, nor was it released commericially. It can be found on several compilations, however (including Dance Party [Like It's 2005]).
The track listing is: 01. Everytime [Album Version] 3:53 02. Everytime [Hi-Bias Radio Mix] 3:29 03. Everytime [Above & Beyond Radio Mix] 3:47 04. Everytime [The Scumfrog Vocal Mix] 9:53 Good job everyone.

Everytime Remixes are Incredible,

I usually dont like Britney Spears, but after hearing this song, I have to admit that I am a fan now. I love the remixes so much that it's my favorite Dance song of the summer. Britney is emmerging now as a real artist and is writing lots of her own material. I am really impressed at her growth as an artist. You gotta buy this record.

Indeed I received the product 2 month later because of problems in Argentinian's post services, I am satisfied with the product. The seller answered all my questions and he was really kind. Thank you very much!

What have I done?,
This review is from: Everytime (Audio CD)
I write songs as a hobby, often describing my relationships... but it's not the same when you want to listen to a song that describes how you feel. After a bad break up, I found "Everytime" while poking around Britney's Business, (as most of us do) Yes, I found it for the first time because I am not a Britney fan, quite the contrary, I truly dislike the broad. But, Everytime... brought tears to my eyes. It was the song I was looking for to listen to. Who would have thought it would be Britney's? Of course, there are other songs that describe how I'm feeling, but this one is a keeper. Too bad more of Brit's work wasn't/isn't like this.
As a footnote, I'd like to add, that Justin's "Cry Me a River" also fits the tone from the other party (my ex who left me) So if "Everytime" is her reply to "Cry Me a River" it adds a little bit of "humanity" to the two Heavy-Partying Media-Hungry Stars who we all love to hate.
