I bought this for my kids and they didn't play it for awhile. But then they pulled it out one day and haven't stopped playing it. They can spend 4-5 hours playing it. The game is easy to play and there are so many things to do and areas to discover that they don't get bored with it. Once they start they can't put it down.
There is no violance and it is an on going game. (no lives to lose, and have to start over)

I'd give it 6 starts if I could.

This has been a great game for my six year old and I to play together. We have had a great time figuring out the clues, taking pictures of our car all over the "world" and filling up our stamp book. We also acheived all levels of the licensing of our car and became President! Would love it if they would make a Road Trip 2!!!

It a new take on the car race game. Combine the adventure of RPG and the thrill of racing and you have this game. In Japan these type games are very popular. The Japanese version of the game has just been released in Japan as a "greatest hit".
A game safe for all ages and will last longer than other racing games due to the RPG story line. More mature violence loving players may not find this game that great, but it's a must for any racing player. Over all this game was not a waste of time or money and should bring hours of fun to anyone.

This game comes at a bargain price for a PS2 game, and it supplies the whole family with hours of enjoyment. Some of the tasks are quite challenging for the adult user while others are realatively simple for the younger player. It's a pity you can only have one saved adventure game at a time, but that would be the only shortcoming of the whole game.

Like the title says, but this maybe a part of the whole challenge. My son and I did have fun trying to learn though.

Well this is one of those weird racing games that the cars talk but it just has words at the bottom of the screen. It is a little kids game but a long time ago it was the best. It does not have very good graphics but it did come out in 2001. The pourpose of this game is that there is a president that quits his job and he will give it to whoever wins the grand prix. There is many parts on this game to buy to fix up ur car and they r not cheap. There is different towns to go to and the town that u live in u start it by talking to people that want to move or start a buisness there and as soon as u complete it u will get a stamp. There is a stamp book that has 100 stamps in it and as soon as u fill it up u beat the game. And they r not easy to get either, each town has about eight stamps and here is one of the things u have to do to get a stamp, become president, meet all of the people in whatever town, and many more. U can choose whoever u want to join ur team to get more money when u race. But u can only choose two people. Each race track has a different money award for first seconed, and third. While u race or just drive around town u can run out of gas and the bigger the engine or the more turbo u use the faster u run out, and to fill it back up u either go into any store or house or if u r racing there is a pit stop to go to. U can play on multiplayer too so u can either do mini games or actually race. There r hundreds of bodies to buy and u can paint them however u like. There is so many things to do in this game and it takes a long time to beat but it is not that hard. If u like Animal crossing and racing u will like this game allot. It is one of my favorite games for the ps2.

It is hard to say what is good about this game because it is really cool. There are so many things to do and places to go. And the places include a desert area, city, chinese, and your town. In your town you look for people and try to get them to move into your town. You can even buy car bodies, wheels and accessories. You should definitely get this.

This game is cool. It has a lot of customization and fun gameplay. Even though this game is for children I love it. this game is great and you can paint your car.

this game is awesome my dad boughtit when he went to texas for a nascar race and it got crack and the game dont work well now but i am going to buy it again because the game was addicting and i love itit is worth buying again!!!

This game is the best in my collection!!! It has loads of exciting features, such as free roam, cool cars,new towns,and the ever awesome customazation option. Don't underestimate this game as kids stuff or lame cartoon crud. Find out what people have been missing. Wheather your going to cloud hill or playing roulett in sandpolis, havin' fun exploring the ruins of the desert, and maybe even developing the cool My City! Meet friends cars, if you and your friend have the game and a memory card. Compete to fill My City!Buy this for total awesomeness!!!!!!!!!Have fun!
