Essential for the independent traveler, November 8, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Everywoman's Travel Journal (Diary)
I have used this book twice for trips to Europe and am purchasing two copies for my sister in preparation for our trek around Italy. It is compact, weather-proof, and provides tons of handy references such as country access codes, maps, and ample space for you to record your personal itinerary and thoughts while traveling. There is even a plastic pocket where you can store copies of your passport (an essential item). Don't leave home without this book!

Travel Journal of Choice, May 9, 2003
This review is from: Everywoman's Travel Journal (Diary)
I have used the "Everywoman's Travel Journal"
for seven European trips, and have found it
exceptionally useful. As other reviewers have
mentioned, it contains pages to record
traveling expenses, film notes, an address
section, maps, calendar (missing in newer
editions), and space to record your complete
itinerary.
One thing I especially like is the fact that
the spine doesn't crack, and the pages do not
fall out, even with rough handling. There is
a clear plastic dustjacket, with space to store
postcards, tickets, and the like. The journal
is compact, and fits easily into a purse or
pocket. There are plenty of pages to record
extensive daily notes.
Of all of the Travel Journals I have seen or bought,
this one is my favorite.

A journaling traveler, June 17, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Everywoman's Travel Journal (Diary)
I came upon this journal several years ago and have purchased one to complete with every subsequent trip. I now possess a mini-library of my travels. The journal contains outstanding tips on packing, foreign customs relating to women, and time/temperature conversion. Address book, travelers checque and film logs, and a designated space for copies of passport/ID/travel documents make this a complete, handy package that makes this a travel-must for me. The only downside is that, not having been updated recently, some of the reference data is out-dated. I also miss the calendars that were a handy part of the first edition. Despite this, it's still a fantastic way to document your travels.
