Pros:
Packed with quotations from famous Christians and non-Christians alike. Almost every page contains a golden nugget of history's wisdom.
Sections of the Bible are devoted soley to teaching evangelism, and Ray Comfort (the compiler) knows how to do it! Sections are taught on how to evangelize to anyone from a stranger in the super-market line to a Jehovah's Witness that knocks on your door.
It is not a theological Bible. The areas it covers are all geared toward evangelism, and it will provoke you out of your comfort zone very quickly.

Cons:
The concordance is very weak, but this helps a guy to memorize where verses are.
Many areas of the commentary contain typographical errors. It seems that somehow all apostrophes, commas, etc. were left out in the printing. It does not, however, affect the readability.

Along with this Bible, I highly recommend the books Revivals Golden Key and Hell's Best Kept Secret. Both are by Ray Comfort as well. Best wishes in your witness!

I am not an expert or a biblical scholar. I am a soldier who has been deployed all year to third world countries. The Lord's word has brought me great comfort. I am thankful to Mr. Comfort for creating this work, as it has helped me tremendously, to understand God's word, his work, and his law. I have several different Bibles, study and others, but this one deploys with me everywhere I go, and has given me the strength, and insight to challenge those who hate God, Jesus Christ, and missunderstand the Lord's word, which is a very large crowd. I would say that this Bible was written for people like me, and not the Biblical Scholar who is going to argue over tid-bits of info presented ther-in because of your pride, and lack of humility. The message is still the same. Thank you Mr. Comfort. I am purchasing my third one.

While this Bible has received some criticism for its removal of archaic words from the King James Version, it should be remembered that even the King James Versions that we consider to be authentic do not use the same spellings as the original of 1611. In response to the reviewer who indicated that the Bible's assessment of the Sabbath was incorrect, he is incorrect. The translation of the Hebrew word "miqra" translates as "an assembly" or a "calling together of the community", usually for a religious purpose but not specifically in reference to worship. I believe Mr. Comfort's point was that worship is not a once a week exercise, but a mindset that should follow the believer throughout each and every day. All in all, this Bible is a very good evangelistic tool.

All the evidence that is shown in this Bible helps Christians share their faith more effectively. It is not really a study Bible (though it contains portions with study notes) it is more of a "question and answer" bible. It helps those who have questions about other faiths, science and evolution and attacks on the Scripture. Ray is a great evangelist with a heart for the lost. The reviewer who attacked the understanding of the Sabbath law may need to simply understand that the Bible is inerrent, not the notes. I have not read a study edition bible yet that I did not have some differences with the author of the notes. If you found only one thing you diagree with in this book loaded with good material, that is impressive for Ray. I would recommend this Bible to people who are searching for truth concerning false religions, cults and junk science. If you are looking for a more comprehensive study edition Bible see John MacArthur's Sudy Bible (But buy them both, as this Bible is also very good)

Ray Comfort has put together a very excellent Bible
that has many many helpful quotes, thoughts, and
commentaries on evangelism, apologetics, and insights
on the usage of The Law BEFORE the offerings of grace
and salvation to the lost.
I would highly recommend this fine Evidence Bible to
students, pastors, and those with any desire to share
their faith with others. don't miss it; it's one of the best
available.

Having a number of bibles at home, this is the only one that organizes the bible with an index that can be used in preaching and study.

By using this bible every day for study, I've grown in the knowledge of the word.

This is the BEST BIBLE I'VE EVER OWNED!!!! 1st off it's a King James Version, 2nd Ray Comfort makes it easy to navigate through! If you or anyone you know have any "Questions or Objections" against what the bible says, the contents make it easy for you to view what the bible itself has to say about the issue. There are amazing comments by very well known evangelists, scientists, etc. given throughout the bible to help you understand how the world is thinking and what the bible is teaching!
Your missing out if you don't have this bible in your library!

If you share your faith you need this bible and if you don't Jesus COMMANDS you too. So,You NEED this bible anyway! Go to WAY OF THE MASTER.COM and equipt yourselves with the resources you need to reach the lost people that you love and the People God loves.
This Bible is packed full of ways to witness that goes past the subjects that cause conflicts and aims for the conscience. Has commentary references that apply to creation and trigger witnessing nuggets of truth that the unbeliver/backslidder can not deny. Answers to the hard questions people ask. This bible has pages set aside for witnessing to MORMONS BUDDISM and others. This is the atillary we need for the battle. ENLIST!!

Armed with The Evidence Bible and an NASB Study Bible, there are FEW questions left unanswered. This Bible has quickly become my FAVORITE. Thank you Ray Comfort! P.S. Kind Reader...do you consider yourself to be a Good Person???

I recently had two copies of this awesome study Bible. The first copy was defected. I took it back, to the place where I got it and got a second copy. That copy was also defected. Took it back and got another book. This will be my third attempt in getting a copy of this awesome resource. I hope this third copy will be perfect with no defects at all.

I liked this Bible, because it was showing me how I could Preach the Gospel message to those, that were lost and/or involved in some false religion and/or teaching. I'm excited about this resource and hope that many people will buy and then use it. I enjoy creating and passing out Bible Tracts. This item will continue to help me put new ones together, once I start reading from my third copy.

This Bible will help you better understand the false teachings and religions of this world, without having to buy any of their "Holy Books and/or Writings". (Examples: The Koran, New World Translation and Mormon Bible)

Mr. Ray and Kirk do an excellent job, at presenting the Gospel message, in this resource. I like the way they present the truths of God's Word, without watering it down or being too condeming towards anyone.

I also like the way Mr. Comfort cleaned up some of the words in this Bible. I'm a big fan of the King James Version and find myself reading from it, very often. Glad that Mr. Comfort changed some of the words, to make them easier to understand, for those of us that like to read, study and meditate from God's Holy Word.

For those like me, who create and pass out Bible Tracts, this item is a great help in putting together the tracts. This Study Bible was showing me how to present the Gospel message without being condeming and watering down the message. I like Mr. Ray and Kirk. I often watch their TV program on TBN and like the way, they present the Gospel message.

I hope this copy will last me for a long time, since I'm looking forward to reading from it again. When I first read from this Bible, I couldn't put it down. It was helping me be a better witness for Jesus. I would highly recommend this resource to anyone, that creates and passes out Bible Tracts like me. It'll really help you, create a very effective Bible Tract, that God will use to help spread the Gospel message.

I loved this Bible and look forward to receiving my third copy of it.
