The author is an expert who has produced a book of great value to investigators. This volume is easy to read without avoiding the technical nature of the work. It has one of the best (though brief) treatments of investigative photography (!!) that I seen in any forensic text to date - including photography texts - WOW. Book is of equal value to those who just want to learn about the subject and the "expert witness." Every police department should have 5 copies of this book.
