The majority of law enforcement officers everywhere are decent people who respect and uphold the laws of this great country. Conversely, in the case of a select few who control what happens within the FBI, CIA, NSA and other law enforcement bureaus in the federal government, the opposite is true. No one knows more than I about this tragic plague on America. "Evidence Withheld" by former FBI agent Donald G. Wilson is a strong step in the right direction for Americans to begin to understand why this great Republic is in danger of being taken over by a fascist regime controlled by the privileged and the rich. One needs only to take time to look at the face of the FBI Headquarters on Pennsylvania Ave in Washington; "The J. Edgar Hoover FBI Building"...what a disgrace! By every measure Hoover was a criminal: an anti-American, a blackmailer, a genuine thug who had contempt for anyone who did not think the way he did. But worse than all of these things together, Hoover was a stone-cold racist. Americans should demand the removal of Hoovers' name from this government building, especially black-Americans. Hats off to Donald G. Wilson.

John Clarence, co-author of "The Gold House" trilogy.

The name James Earl Ray will forever be linked with the name of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The official government narrative is that on April 4, 1968, Dr. King was shot and killed at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee by a lone gunman - end of story. James Earl Ray spent the next 30 years trying to obtain a fair trial, insisting that he was not the gunman and that he did not willingly participate in the conspiracy to assassinate Dr.King. As told in great detail by former FBI agent Donald G. Wilson in his fascinating book EVIDENCE WITHHELD, the official government version of what took place that fateful day in Memphis, has been shown to be both a deceptive and a deeply flawed accounting of the actual events.
Our government has consistently stated that Raoul or Raul, the man James Earl Ray named as his handler, the man who sent him to buy a rifle to be used as part of a gunrunning scheme but was really meant to provide evidence that would help frame him for an assassination they were planning, never existed.
Time and time again, they have stated that the mysterious Raoul/Raul was nothing more than a lie concocted to provide an alibi, and that he only existed deep inside the recesses of James Earl Ray's criminal mind.
Thanks to the hard work and bravery of former FBI agent Donald G. Wilson, we have evidence, concrete physical evidence that casts doubts about the story we have been told during the past 4 decades. This evidence doesn't come from the lunatic fringe or from a conspiracy site but from the educated, expertly trained mind of a former federal government agent. A man who has devoted his life to protecting the rights of others, a man who willingly placed his life in jeopardy in order to serve and protect. A man devoted to the concept of Law and Order.

Wilson's book is about his own experience as an FBI agent at the time of the JFK assassination. Circumstances permitted him to be aware of a number of occurrences that seemed to link people within the FBI to a conspiracy. His efforts to bring this information to the public were thwarted by bureau officials. The story, while told somewhat awkwardly, is credible. It's difficult to understand why officials were not more forthcoming and able to refute him effectively unless they were in fact covering things up.

This book is an eye opener to the average American who gets his information from TV news. To the well read or history buffs it is fascinating ,a real spellbinder. ..It is well written so that it is hard to put down. It is short so it can be read in one sitting, Even more important is the fact that it spans enough years to have some parts that were not understood at the time of occurrence to be corroborated over time. The reports are first-hand , eye witness and very reliable. The author, like the rest of us, was shocked by the extreme deceit and felonious revelations he observed inside the FBI
