It Ran out of juice once and i could not charge it by leaving it in sunlight.

The capacity of 23,000 mAh really shows when I'm able to charge my cell phone, mp3 player, and portable video player.

This is an excellent product it keeps my DROID Razr, Dell laptop and my Ipod charged up. It has separate charging ports for your 5 volt electronics and laptops. You can set the voltage for your laptop and if you can set it in the sun while you work on your laptop it will charge itself and your laptop up with it's photo voltaic cells that cover the whole top face of it. I recommend this to anyone that is always on the go but are tired of their electronics running out of juice.

I thought this would come in handy for my wife and I. The initial charge was made by my cellphone charger. The next day we were out running around, and my phone was showing only a 10 % remaining charge. I hooked up my solar charger, and was speechless as my phone was fully recharged in 1 hour and 15 minutes for my Samsung Galaxy S 3. I put the charger on the dash as we finished our rounds and it was about 1/2 charged just laying on the dashboard when we got home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CHARGER TO EVERYONE! !

I received within days of order, it was larger than I was expecting but that is ok. It charged up very quickly since it came mostly charged. It hooked up to my HP Pavilion Laptop, Acer Aspire laptop and my Kindle Fire HD and Cell phone with ease. I was a little concerned when reading the reviews that it may be confusing to use. The green /white lights talked about in a bad review is actually a flashlight feature being on and off which was a nice touch. The only problem I had with it, was it wasn't charging (so I thought ) but it was user error, I plugged it in in a rush and put the plug into the in power not the out once I had corrected that, it worked great charged completely dead batteries (the HP hadn't been charged since Feb) in an hour or so. The Kindle charged up in a couple of hours but it takes 4 hours plugged into the wall so I am quite pleased . I got this to keep my laptops, kindle and cell phones going while on extended camping trips the grandkids like to watch movies before they go to bed and we like to play games when you wake up in the middle of the night and it is dark and boring or on a rainy day and the kids cant go outside. This helps keep me from using up the battery in my trailer and the kids entertained during the dark. I love this product.

I have started using it and in two days, the holding power of the mamoth battery turned out to be poor. I usually charge my mobile phones and it is not holding the charge. The charging from house hold power supply is good. the Solar charger seems to be too slow. I have left it under good amount of sunlight for half a day and it did not charge even by a single point.
It Ran out of juice once and i could not charge it by leaving it in sunlight.

Tried to charge the unit and it only charged 50%. Also the instructions were very limited and not easy to understand. I wanted to send it back but because it is from a third party I was unable to do so and now I am out $101.

It seemed like a great idea, until I tried to use it. The "instructions" were one short paragraph long and very unclear. Is it on when the light is green, or white? What's the USB attachment for? What about all the other cords and outlets on the thing? How do I get it to charge 100%? - it sat in the sun for a full day and would never hit 100%. Stuff like that would be real helpful to know. Instead, you get really short sentences, written by someone who doesn't understand English. Life's too short, so I sent it back for a refund.

If you want a portable battery it is great. But if you want customer support or the solar panels to work forget it. Also, it is great for phones and iPads. Not enough juice for a computer.

I used it as a battery pack for my CPAP and was able to get eight hours of uninterrupted sleep while camping. I was unable to test the solar charging portion of the battery pack as unfortunately it dropped to the ground from where I had placed it and damaged the solar panel, but it still chaged well from a generator. For the $140 price it was well worth it, as dedicated CPAP batteries can easily cost twice that. It charged my phone fine as well.
